Hey Chip Chase avi, your name is not important enough for me to remember nor was it my main focus at the time I stated that. Getting my point across far outweighed remembering your name.
As I've stated before with these Mods, they are consistently inconsistent with their rules and what post they deem to violate their rules. Case in point "(apparently writing out the name Sam was too long for you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)." Gee I wonder if this low key insult will catch the eye of dear old shockwave81?
Maybe avoid talking or responding to me if my opinion triggers you. And don't talk to me about being defensive when comments I make about figures, on a forum, seem to put everybody (you included) on the defensive for no reason whatsoever.
And since you bring up age, is this forum full of single digit or preteens? I can't tell sometime for obvious reasons.
I don't disrespect anybody on this forum unless disrespect is thrown at me first. See your little colorful comment that I quoted.
Anything else you wish to discuss?

NO ONE CARES.

Hey PRD. This is the guy with the Chip Chase avatar (apparently writing out the name Sam was too long for you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯).
Pro-tip: if you want to question the mods decisions, take it to PM. Generally the rule on the site is we don't talk about mods' actions outside of PMs. Shockwave81's just doing his (unpaid and much appreciated) job there.
If you want to set up an argument and illustrate your point, pics will help a lot. You can post pics by literally copying a photo (right click and choose "copy image" on a computer, if you're on mobile hold down your finger/thumb on the picture until it says "copy image") and directly pasting it here. It's super simple, and goes a long way towards crafting a discussion that people might take seriously.
I'd also recommend not getting so defensive.
Maybe avoid superfluous language, too. Because when you say MP-52+ and stills of Thundercracker from the G1 cartoon are night and day then I genuinely think no one is going to take you seriously, since there clearly isn't that big of a difference.
The Simpsons reference has thrown me for a loop here, since from your posts I would've assumed you were young enough, and I didn't think young people still watched that show. Peaked at Season 2 anyway
Nope, we don't have to agree at all. Just treat people with respect, around here it's earned not mandatory.
Prince Raw D
Hey you can't do that. You can't post stuff that would make me react negatively. Just saying
Prince Raw D
It absolutely does not have to be an us vs them war of some sorts. I'm just here to share my opinion and that's it. That seems to be against the rules here. Why is that? Do we all have to agree? Again like I said in another post that the mods deemed to have broken their little rules, this place seems to be like that Simpsons's Tree House Of horror Ep. where Bart was making everybody only think happy thoughts

I don't know how to post pics on this site. The mods would more than likely remove said post because I guess having an opinion and sharing it on this site is deemed to purposely cause others to have a negative reaction…(rolls eyes)…anyway, somebody posted a pic of Skywarp on this thread that was taken directly from the G1 cartoon. It's night and day in my opinion between that animation cell and the new Starscream/Thundercracker mold and with TT's new direction of attempting to slavishly imitate the cartoon to a T, this is a fail.
Prince Raw D
So my post about censorship and folks taking others opinions a little too seriously and responding with attacks somehow violated one of these rules? I deliberately posted that just to have others react "negatively"?
Sam
Ugh that photo reminds me of how disappointed I was with MP-11. Take it out of the box in awe and the first thing that happens is the torso slides out of place exactly like that smh.
That's right, I said 'awe'. I had the same feeling of awe when I took MP-10 out of its package. I can still appreciate the older MPs even if I prefer the new ones. You don't have to shit on one figure because you like another ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
And yes the feeling of awe was much more powerful when I took MP-36 out of the box and it still hasn't faded

This.
I get ya. While MP-11 looks pretty good in it's own right, aside from my lean towards more cartoon-accurate stuff, I personally feel that MP-11 is kinda showing it's age.
Aesthetics were perfectly fine, but the proportions to me feel a bit off (why does his head ride so high or his arms ride so low, whichever works better?), and i'm not a fan of his engineering in some places.

That on top of me missing out on the Maketoys Seekers is what led me to kinda see MP-44's Starscream head as a sign of something to come in the future, which i'm glad I did.
The MT Seekers ironically I see as a more perfect mix between the two, while leaning more towards the cartoon look. Heck, i've been thinking of getting Meteor EX just for the hell of it because of that.
You do you of course, my guy, this is just my side of things, haha.

Wait…
This isn't version 3?

I like how well this one shows off the ankle tilt. I wasn't sure how much we'd get given the panels to the sides of the foot.

Jesus Christ ?! I must be looking through rose tinted glasses cause I legit don’t see any of that . They cleaned up the lower legs. Fixed the insignias ( for once ) , nailed the colors spot on . An I’d say nailed about 85 % of the aesthetics for this one . I totally get it has to transform , so some liberties need to be taken into consideration. I really don’t see the head being a problem though . There’s no doubt in my mind his proportions are pretty dam close to what was shown on the toon . Way better then the MP- 3 an modified MP 11 version . I’m satisfied.. That is until 2032 when they release version 3.0

If you don't like this mold that's cool but I think that part is a little far fetched and I disagree. Whilst it's not 100% it's clearly the closest likeness of any previous official or 3P MP Seeker and barring some proportional differences, it's unmistakably intended as a representation of the cartoon. Personally I'm happy with what I've seen.
It doesn't have to be an "us vs them". We all like Transformers (I guess? I hope?) and it should be possible to have different preferences without the heated unpleasantness both ways.
Debating whether a figure is close enough to the source material that it's intended to depict, and whether it could be closer, is something I can always join in.
The only debate I don't have time for personally is when people who clearly don't like the G1 cartoon, come into threads about figures that are intended to be based on the G1 cartoon, and complain that it looks too much like the G1 cartoon and not something else.
To this day I've never seen anyone complain that a Movie, Prime, Animated, or Beast Wars figure looks like the source material, only when they're not accurate enough. It's a uniquely G1 targeted criticism that I've personally never understood.

funny how the head don't look too big in these pictures but people choose to ignore them and base it on the few from an angle that makes it look big and as if the picture has been stretched
