Via Weibo user 玩具人小木 we can share for you new images of the color prototype of Toyworld TW-FS05 Sky Burst (WWI Battleship Jetfire).
These figures, planned for the Studio Series scale, are inspired by the World War I & II Transformers seen in The Last Knight film. In a very original design choice, Jetfire transforms into a powerful WWI battleship. Robot mode still looks recognizable as Jetfire’s design in ROTF, with a solid and detailed alt mode. To make things even more interesting, it includes an stand for the battleship and Jetfire can still combine with Studio Series Optimus Prime.
We still have no concrete information about price or release date, but stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates!

This figure does look good, but I’ll never trust TW. Now if they reissued Starscream that’s the only one I’d maybe buy.
Rewind
Agreed. Out of the entire line this and Starscream are the most solid and problem-free, at least my copies. Highlights of the line for me.

Well lack of after sales service is a pretty massive drawback.
zark225
Oh yeah, solid ship mode, solid robot mode, transformation is complex but nothing bad, paint is great, etc. Really not much bad to say about it, at least for me.
Atomic Tofu
@zark225 did they? Even at that price, not interested…yet. I just plunked down a lot of money on some extra plastic toys as well
zark225
Thats a damn good price for this guy! Honestly, TW went out on a high note with this guy.
Syphur
ShowZ has him 50% off ($99.99) if anyone cares.
Hoptimus
Just got mine from the BST here, he's so very excellent. I'm calling him Broadside.
I'm also connecting the cane and the axe differently.

Edit- can he hold the axe and cane without tabbing into the hand? I want to shave the tabs off those accessories so the axe and cane combine better in my new config.
zark225
Why not? He is the best Jetfire afterall.

Some websites even had a warning that said "THERE WILL BE NO AFTER SALES SERVICE FOR THIS FIGURE", and half this thread is drama about the company, not to mention woes about how shitty some of their other releases have been. TW is not to be trusted or bought from, which is a shame cause they've had some cool ideas, like this line, for instance.
inturnmike
I totally would buy this….if it weren't THAT Jetfire…ugh
Furb
Indeed…
Anything from a company with this track record, if you still insist on buying it, buy it at least from one of the major stores that offer some kind of support.
Gepard
In lieu of being able to do anything else for me, the seller volunteered a partial refund. Figure that's about as good as it'll get.
octobotimus
Yeah I think I remember someone ended up getting one that was snapped in half. I think it might have been a rare instance where despite no after-sales support, Showz I think ended up helping them out. But yeah getting one with a minor issue is very lucky with them it seems.
Gepard
If you don't care about Jetfire/Sky Burst himself, mind if I buy a turret off of you?
I guess I'm lucky that the only other problem was a stripped screw on one of his back kibble hinges, easily fixed with a dab of epoxy.
octobotimus
I would recommend staying on top of 3p companies if you buy 3p. They can go rogue or have massive dips in quality. In this case over the past few years Toyworld’s quality has kept getting worse and their after sales has basically ceased existing.
So unfortunately with this guy you’re basically out of luck on getting any after sales service.
Fuze9
Lol. I know the risks, but I went ahead and ordered one from ShowZ. But I want it primarily for the Starscream torso. The extra broken bits in the box will be a bonus.
Gepard
I really do not because I haven't paid any attention to the business side of this. Although I'm getting an idea.
Shmoptimus Prime
Y'all knew the risks with this one.

My copy arrived missing the gun emplacement that ends up on Jetfire 's left shoulder; so far, the only response I've gotten from the seller on AliExpress is that "the factory is out of print." It looks like the part should attach with a screw, so all I need is the gun and screw to go with it.
Is there any way of getting in touch with ToyWorld about it? (Or any chance they'd respond if I did?)
