Mondo, via their official website, have uploaded an official gallery of their Transformers G1 Grimlock Tiki Mug.
This is a very cute Tiki Mug sculpted after G1 Grimlock dino mode. A very original and different Transformers merchandising item. Read on for the product description.
We all know there’s one thing that every Autobot craves after a long day of kicking Decepticon tailpipe: A DRINK. Thank Unicron that the galaxy’s most endearing Dinobot — Grimlock, duh — is now available as the first-ever Transformers tiki mug!
Standing roughly 6.5″ high, weighing 1lb 7oz, and holding 18 oz of motor oil (or any other liquid of your choice), this techno-tyranno-tiki was brought to life by artists Ken Christiansen, Aaron White, Brian Oskins and our friends at Tiki Farm, and is a powerfully prehistronic addition to your/our tiki collection.
NOTE: These mugs are handmade, making each one unique, so slight variations from images shown may occur.
You can already pre-order it here for $60.00 and scheduled for released in March 2021. This is our first Transformers Tiki Mug our in the market, but there’s another one coming from Beeline Creative that was teased back in November.

Maybe you're sposed to plunk a straw (and umbrella) in it?

Grimlock Tiki from Mondo! I was hired by @brockotter for @mondonews to design a Tiki mug for Grimlock, up for preorder now! Here's the concept turns I did for him, and the final product (with link text embedded in the product images)
Furnace
Well, as I’ve never drank from a tiki mug in my life at all, I’ll take your word for it.
T-Hybrid
I've never drank straight from a tiki mug in my life. Straws or bust.
Furnace
More than usual for a tiki mug, I mean. The top isn’t round, so it looks rather awkward to drink from.
T-Hybrid
Same. I love novelty cocktails so maybe I'd use it *once* before cleaning it and safely stashing it away.
Right, it's a tiki mug.
Furnace
Well, it's certainly novel, but it just doesn't look very ergonomic to hold nor easy to drink from.
Paxtin
This seems like it's really stretching the concept of a "tiki mug". Maybe if the colors were more muted and wooden looking like the sculpting seems to suggest.

$60 for a tiki mug is a little steep but considering that they're handmade the price seems fair. Though being one-of-a-kind I'd probably just display it and be afraid to actually use it. : O

Has anyone ever bought tiki mug and used it ?

I love this (and am a sucker for ridiculous cocktail mugs anyway)! Shame it’s not available in the UK, but glad for those who want it and can get it.

It may be an entirely American thing. Because it's not all cocktails at all restaurants, mostly just certain restaurants that want to really lean in to the tropical theme.
Right? That would explain why they're so cheap.
Yep. Which is why I'm throwing side-eye at everybody who's ripping the people who made this for the price they're charging. If this was something they could crank out and sell at Target they could probably get away with cheaper price. But "expecting" them to charge $20 would be like dialing up Grimlockimus and asking him to make you a custom Transformer for the cost of a retail figure.
From the looks of things, Mondo serves as an outlet for content creators to get merch out to the masses. I dunno if they hire on people or pay commissions or how it works, but a lot of there stuff calls out specific makers/artists. So I wonder if it's like TeeFury or Shirtoid in that regard.
Slimaximus
At $30 I'd consider it. At $60 I'll just sit here at laugh at that face that some dumb sap who likes to waste money is going to spend $60 on that shit
Grimlock_13
I love it! But I definitely don't $60 love it.

Is Mondo the same company that announced a non-transforming Soundwave more than a year ago?
Wonder what happened to that line.

Sixty. Dollars.
Ottertron
I would really like this but it’s not available to the UK. They did that with their Adventure Time pins and I’m still sad about that
Venixion
Its cute, but it looks like it'd be a pain to try and drink out of.
@Macross7 The one time Disney is cheaper then the rest.
grimlock1972
I like it but not at $60. for thirty i'd consider it at $20 it would be mine. That said i can understand why that price but i think it misses the mark for a sweet spot on this sort of product.
