Via In Demand Toys we have several new stock images of some new Transformers “Buzzworthy Bumblebee” figures.
These new reveals seem to be re-packs of previous Studio Series molds, all packaged in a similar packaging of the previously revealed Transformers Buzzworthy Bumblebee Bumblebee & Spike 2-pack. We still have no additional information about these figures, which now seem to be a complete sub-line.
- Buzzworthy Bumblebee 15 Bumblebee & Charlie -Repack of Studio Series SS-15 1976 Camaro Bumblebee and Charlie figurine, but without the extra parts. Formerly online exclusive)
- Buzzworthy Bumblebee 26 WWII Bumblebee -Repack of Studio Series SS-15.
- Buzzworthy Bumblebee 40 Shatter (Car mode) – Repack of Studio Series SS-40
- Buzzworthy Bumblebee 74 Camaro Bumblebee & Sam – Repack of the upcoming Studio Series ROTF Bumblebee & Sam Witwicky
A complete surprise with still no concrete information on release date or distribution. Stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates.

Because kids like the big robots and the simple transformations. Why do you think Rescue Bots lasted so long?
It's smart of Hasbro to bring that audience over to the mainlines now that Rescue Bots is over.
Voyagers wouldn't have been the right scale, which is what Studio is all about. They didn't do Voyagers for Drift, either.
If you want a scaled triple changing Shatter/Dropkick, then be ready to pay $30 for a smallish Voyager like SS86 Hot Rod.

In other news, someone asked for the DPCIs of the reissued Cyberverse Armor dudes…

It is, I didn’t buy it cuz I’m already satisfied with my ss01 but out of curiosity I looked in the box of one I saw while out hunting today and it does have the pin

I want a Siege style Cybrertonian mode Bee. Woefully underrepresented in that line.
skwonderfactory
So is the hinge fixed with a pin on the Bee with Charlie? Because if so, I’ll probably pick one up and sell my SS-01 which I only transformed like twice.
optimusbee
This pisses me off so much. I have no idea why Hasbro would rerelease these ugly figures unless they found old stock or something.

Primus, have mercy…

Even Sounblaster has it.

Fenrys
but it's officially acknowledged in artwork within his packaging, so tribute or not, it's still officially recognized by hasbro. More so at least than TR Perceptor's tank mode

Sometimes I wonder if Shatter and Dropkick’s designs would have been simpler to translate into toys if they’d been Duocons instead of triple changers. I think that might have easier to pull off, IMO.
JockerStudio
Siege Soundwave’s lamp post mode is a tribute egg, not the real third mode
Shin Densetsu
Vehicle mode yes, robot mode, maybe not. Unfortunately if the robots from the Bumblebee movie were in true relative scale in the Studio Series line, then the compromise to maintain relative scaling would’ve probably killed sturdiness if they were triple changers, to the point where it might not even be practical. Imagine, SS-01 is already bad enough as is just transforming between 2 modes. Imagine having to transform into another mode that’s physically substantially larger while maintaining the already short robot mode and compact car mode. Disaster. I wouldn’t mind bigger ones that were out of scale but big enough to triple change, have relatively kibble free vehicle modes and full articulation. However I’m in the minority and Studio Series is known for emphasis on relative scaling. So what I suggested probably wouldn’t fly.
drmick
Do any of the leakers know how extensive this line is, in terms of total number of waves and/or figures?
SoundwaveSuperior
Triple changers are relatively common in Generations, but a rare sight in the movie lines (presumably because it's already hard enough to accurately replicate two modes of the movie character designs, let alone 3).
Joshb721
So it sounds like Hasbro's excuse for not doing voyager class triple changers for Dropkick and Shatter is laziness then? That sounds accurate enough. Voyagers would have fit better in scale with the SS line anyway I think.
Fenrys
Does Siege Soundwave count with his officially acknowledged lamp post mode?
JockerStudio
Doubledealer decided to protest against your neglect of it

And both Horrorcons.
