Threezero, via their official blog, have revealed our first teaser image of their upcoming Bumblebee Movie DLX Bumblebee Gold Edition.
This is a very nice redeco of the already impressive Threezero’s Bumblebee Movie DLX Bumblebee action figure (you can check our gallery of this figure here) in gold finishing. We still have no concrete information on price or release date, but stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates.

So does this figure chip easily?

Im not sure how they mount it, but you better get it fixed with your avatar.

Got mine today. Opened him up, looked him over and noticed…

The clear plastic on this open door wing is not attached. It doesn't snap in or hold together in any way. Is it supposed to be glued?

Mine arrived today from Sideshow. View attachment 29110436

Don't know if this alarms anyone, but it says 1000 of the 1500 total run were sold at the following events and then breaks it down by amount. However…
150+100+50+300+300 = 900, not 1000.

Shipping notice received, estimated delivery June 16.

Looks like Sideshow is shipping these today.

Got an email from Sideshow, they expect to have this in their warehouse in approximately eight days. I guess if all goes well, shipping may start June 7 or thereabouts?

Not yet, still delayed for me.

I see Sideshow still has this available, I just preordered one. Has anybody got one from them yet?

Yeah I definitely noted the lack of weathering in the prototype, and that’s a risky move. They can’t get away with the excuse of paint flaws as “battle damage”. I look forward to getting mine from Sideshow eventually. I assume you got yours direct from ThreeZero.
I got my final ThreeZero Optimus Prime variant today (Nemesis) and I get Vintage Blitzwing tomorrow. So I have them all except for normal Blitzwing at this point. I should get that in a month or so through Sideshow.

Okay, so, mine came in. Under the right lighting (first unboxed pic on here), he looks STELLAR. Crazy good, but, overall, I’m not highly impressed. The gold finish is fragile (had some scuffs out of the box), no weathering either. I think it definitely is a great exclusive (unlike Nemesis, SG Prime, and G1 Blitz), in that it’s not a must have. It completes my detolfs of variant Threezero figures though! So I’m happy to have him.

Mine arrived yesterday and yes it does include both sets of doors (although I suspect this was originally from my question).
He's nice. Think he'd be nicer if the silver was more gunmetal/dingy like the original version, but this is definitely not a figure I'll be painting on. It'll stay silver.

According to Sideshow, you get both sets of doors. Sideshow is pretty careful with what they list, so I’m pretty sure we get both sets. I’m sure someone can confirm or deny this pretty quickly when the open their new shiny gold Bugs.

I received mine yesterday, just haven't had a chance to open it.

Both of my copies have shipped direct from Threezero. Cheers!
