Walmart website have uploaded new stock images of the recently revealed Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Starscream.
Starscream is part of this new Cyberverse Deluxe figures together with Prowl and Soundwave. While this new toys don’t come with a Build-A-Figure part like the previous waves, they include several new accessories. Curiously, the images come from a Cyberverse Deluxe Prowl Walmart listing, so we may have listings and images of the rest of these new figures soon. The figure is still out of stock but it’s priced $19.87.
Check all the images after the break and then let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Dat butt flap. Hmm, does Soundwave have enough clearance in alt mode?

The blast effects look quite a bit better after fixing warps. Starscream with a Scraplet.

Prowl looks awful. The head is inexcusable: the paint apps and the hollow plastic syndrome from the back. Of the 1st 8 bots, Thunderhowl also had hollow plastic syndrome for the head (and a terrible figure in general to end wave 2). OP did too but to a much smaller extent.

What a great time I had reading all this thread. No questions on my side so far!

Changed my mind on Prowl….Ick…

PvP's white balance is horrendous. It makes his blast effects look yellow when they are very much orangey orange.
Compared to other Cyberverse Deluxe bots, Starscream is really good. Not having BAF makes such a positive difference. The overall engineering is better. He poses more like a WFC bot. He has 5 different base plastic colors and generous paint apps. The blast effects are nice once you fix the warps with a heat gun (seems like all bigger effects are having warps across the lines).
The exposed hands, though, and hollow plastic syndrome are still very much annoying.
Starscream is about the same size as the other Deluxe bots, which puts him closer to the smaller WFC Deluxe bots.
Compared to WFC Deluxes overall, still a far ways to go but wave 3 is starting to close the gap.
The legs had to be hollow due to how he transforms.
No no no…that would be an awful move. Only Studio Series 86 Hot Rod is deserving of that class bump and price: legit Masterpiece level Deluxe figure at 'discount' Voyager pricing.

Really wish Soundwave's dangly bits would swivel up against his back.
And that he wasn't hollow….

Mmm… Soundwave is one tall boy. I’m surprised with all the size classes Hasbro has been pulling out with Cyberverse, they didn’t mark him as the first ever “voyager” with a 29.99 price tag.

To add to my post above, now the Decepticons have a better chance against the Autobots. All of the Cyberverse figures are actually my sons but I couldn’t resist to put all them together for a group shot.

I had to run to Target to get a few things for Christmas and found these guys! There were two more Starscream left on the pegs. Wasn’t expecting to find anything. No Prowl but that’s okay.

Oh Geez… He's becoming a bit of wasted potential of the hollowness he has there. It's a shame. I wanted a Deluxe Cyberverse Soundwave so badly and it turned out a bit of a disappointment.
Predakwon
Yeah, mine's pretty barren. Oh well….
Thundershot
My wife was just at Target and she said the toy dept was mostly barren and picked over and didn’t see Starscream.

SPLIT LIP
Holy shit he's a fucking shell. You could practically put another whole toy in him Pretender-style.
Guess the design quality of the first wave didn't really pass on to the later ones.
The Bucket Kitten
That looks bad, even for my standards (I wasn't planning on buying Soundwave, so I really shouldn't be complaining)
