Via Asian site Safety Korea we can share for you images of the upcoming Transformers Kingdom Leader Ultra Magnus, Voyager Inferno & Voyager Dinobot.
While we still have just small images, they give us a good look at the robot mode of these new figures out of the packaging. Leader Class Ultra Magnus is a nice retool of Siege Ultra Magnus to make him look closer to his G1 design. Voyager Inferno seems to be a retool of Earthrise Grapple, while Voyager Dinobot is a complete new mold of the Maximal warrior. These figures should be part of Kingdom Wave 2 releases.

No. I'm referring to the color matching he mentions for the two parts that make up the chest.
T-Hybrid
Are you referring to "color-matching" regarding the accuracy to the animation? Because he stays right in the review the forearm colors don't match the torso but that's accurate to the series.
So not sure why we're bagging on Hasbro for giving people the GEEWUN Cyclonus they've always wanted.
PixHell
Yes.

Great review but so weird that he's praising Hasbro for color matching as if that's something extraordinary. Has Hasbro lowered our expectation so far that when they do common sense things like getting the color right we're blown away by it?

Finally preordered Dinobot,Airrazor, and Ractonite. Took a while to get the money for them but better later then never.

…I swear, if Hasbro doesn't do a Megaman Collab figure with this mold, I'm doing it myself!!!

Absolutely agreed, a big part of Dinobot's character is that he just did not give a fuck. Flicking bits of his clone out of his teeth and burping in Primal's face. He did what he felt was right, when he had to, but other than that he was not at all concerned with appearances or what others thought of him. That raptor mode was never noble or intimidating, it looked funny and awkward and that was part of the charm.

Fixing the hands is something that anyone who owns a 3d printer could do, but the tail and the feet are more complex and require a 3p factory to get a proper job on a large scale. And the head… It depends if it's possible to separate it from the rest of the body without breaking anything
Primal has a realistic gorilla face… Kinda. They tried to do something that looked more realistic, they did a good job with the other characters, but failed with this one

I feel like a certain ugliness to the raptor mode is needed. Dinobot's in-show raptor was not exactly accurate, and it had some pretty goblin-esque features, this new toy's sculpt is different but still evokes that janky beast, so I think it works fine to me.
The only problem I see in his sculpt that is a serious problem is the stiff shape of his dino-mode hands, otherwise he does a good job at being a detailed version of his cartoon look, frankly, does it better than Primal's gorilla face.
PixHell
I don't think so. Even with a low budget they could've done a better job. All the issues are in the mold of some parts that are easy to replace, the only parts that require a new engineering job are the dino feet. And even that could be done in five minutes.

But the mp was more accurate. Longer tail, digitigrade legs… Ok, the head sculpt was awful but it was exactly like in the cartoon, so it's justified. In this case…idk, the original toy head looked more "raptorish" than this one. This has the same look of my old pet goose: very aggressive in an extremely dumb way.

Ah, I don't think I've seen any pictures from that angle before. The side profile shots are at least 90% of the way there. It's definitely too broad in the snout, though, which throws off the 3/4 view significantly.
It still really doesn't bother me that much. It's still nowhere near as bad as any of the prior attempts at a "velociraptor" head sculpt.
And even with its own idiosyncracies, the rest of the 'raptor anatomy is still miles better than the three previous attempts, as well (although the MP obviously wasn't really trying for that).

Maybe it would have broken Hasbro's bottom line?
lord ginrai
Yeah it's weird. Same thing with SS86 Grimlock.

Raptors didn’t have front teeth.

Hey, Megs has his front teeth. Why couldn't Dinobot have his?
