Yeah, I know what you mean. I was sort of excited about the RED line, but I'd hoped they'd be more detailed than the earlier figures turned out to be.
WishfulThinking
I know I'm in the minority, but I'd like to see Megaplex make a comeback. I realize he primarily just replaces the red with blue but I'm still enamored with the idea that Megatron created a decoy and what that decoy's story might be. I didn't really like the Wings Universe take, either.

On the one hand, I'm curious to see more of these figures.
On the other after watching reviews and seeing more in-hand images… seeing them not look as good as they often did in those preview images.. Eh.
RacerCheetor
Monkey multi poses.

Perhaps it's to distinguish him from a possible Beast Machines Optimus Primal down the line.
Cheetor is referred to as "Beast Wars Cheetor" in the Walmart listing

Depends what retailers want, if the SS series keeps selling well I don't mind them expanding to different cartoons/comics etc on the same line.
T-Hybrid
"BW Optimus Primal" is an interesting listing as I don't recall Cheetor calling out that he was "BW." It doesn't mean anything in regards to what the toy will look like, but it seems like a redundant label.
Afterburner
So now that I've seen what some of the old Mega SCF figures go for online I'm guessing that's part of the reason these got made and also part of the reason why they have the same type of soft sculpt.
weevil
Black Megatron or battle damage Megatron maybe.
CryptiniteDemon
I really like what they did with cheetor. I hope they tweak the other designs too. The mp best wars are already damn near perfect, so I'd rather they take some liberties here. Don't need the same design 50 times
RoadPigJohn
I wonder how they would look…
WishfulThinking
I hope not, since G2 Megatron looks nothing like G1 Megatron aside from the head.

That’s true
RodimusZero
I understand your enthusiasm, but I can't help but think that Animated figs in this format would end up looking terrible considering how thin their hip joints are and how thick their shoulder are supposed to be, I'm sure the proportions would end up looking pretty wonky…
RodimusZero
Man… redeco Megatron is probably just G2 since the Hasbro team has zero imagination.
Now, if it were a complete surprise like a black helmet, Marvel Comics inspired repaint, that would be dope!
Nagatem
And here I am still waiting for red knockout
protohuman
Cheetor looks like a human dude in Halloween costume.

I'd pay $30 for an Airachnid with fully poseable legs. They wouldn't be able to do full-on spider mode because they're non-transforming, but robot mode with spider legs would be awesome. She'd go perfectly with the new Arcee too.
weevil
Will Redeco Megatrom be G2 ver?
YoungPrime
Since they were too lazy to make a legit TF Prime Arachnid (the only TFP Decepticon I cared about) that properly transformed back then. Would it kill Hasbro make a Decent RED version of her with cool limbs and articulation instead???
I guess the legs don't have to be this long but if they're releasing a 10yr anniversary version, I don't even think the fans of that show want anything as disrespectful as that Prime figure from 10 years ago either. I just want to add to my Fate Weavers faction.
