Via Newage Toys Weibo we can share for your the first color renders of the upcoming Newage Toys H35 Cyclops (Legends Scale G1 Shockwave).
This a very impressive take on Shockwave for the Legends scale market. This figure looks impressive and cartoon accurate in both modes, and it will include die-cast, interchangeable hands and a display base for the space gun mode. According to the information shared in the Weibo post, the transformation won’t require to remove any parts. Keep in mind that these are still early renders and there may be several changes in the first prototype. This figures is an interesting alternative to another recent Legend scale Shockwave project: Magic Square Toys MS-B32.
We still have no concrete information on price or release date, but stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates. Click on the bar to see the images on this news post and then sound off on the 2005 Board!

Thanks for all of the replies. I narrowed it down to two. The comic (C) and the toy (EX). And then I bought both! #feelin crazy

All four decos are gorgeous. I got the EX (toy) version since I loved the metallic purple. The eye on the toon and toy decos is way too dark cause the light piping doesn't really work, but it's really easy to paint. Comic has a painted eye.

Dear Newage, please upscale this figure to MP
I dabbled with legends scale briefly, and one of the figures I got was the EX version. It's quite like MP29+, in that it's more toy than toon accurate, but looks so much bloody better that it doesn't matter.

EX

I went with the comic version since even though I loved the darker EX, the small details of his eye being painted along with the silver accents was what stood out to me.
If you don't mind painting the eye, I'd say go with H35EX. If you like it already painted with a blue translucent chest, and silver accents, go with H35C.

I went with the EX version because I'm a SUCKER for metallic paint, and I couldn't be happier with it. But all 3 versions look great, I'm still tempted to grab the "comic" version as well, he was on sale still at a few places like ShowZ as recently as a few weeks ago when I looked.

Hi friends. I’m new to Legends scale and Newage as I only collect Masterpiece scale. However, I saw this guy and fell in love! I have Mp-29 and I am trying to decide which version I should get, H35, H35C or H35EX. The regular toy version would match my Mp-29 but I also really like the dark purple of the the EX. The Blue flake and chest of the comic version is really cool and different and I like the silver paint accents. Help!! How did you guys decide which one to get?

The more I look at this toy, the more I'd love to see a mp scaled figure of similar proportions.

Soooo, does anyone have an extra mini Shockwave accessory that they wouldn't mind parting with? (not the grey one)

two heads are better than one…

as others have already mentioned, this is one of two available KOs. this is the 1:1 version with some sculpt simplification, minor improvements, and extra accessories included:
MK-6 Toys Grimlock (KO NEWAGE Grimlock)
xl T0RQU3 lx
Those three are the KO of Newage Grimock.
fatfaso
Are they KOs of NA Grimlock?

Wait… Where and how did you get those leg covers for Ymir??? They seem integrated, not parts-formed! I’d love to get my hands on those. I’d greatly appreciate it if you would let me know.

I already painted mine actually, I just taped up the area around the eye. Your way is better though.
