If no pics it didn't happen. So bit the bullet and I have a confirmed reserve from Takara Tomy Mall Thrust
Fafnir72
Okay. I registered myself at Takara Mall. Used the name conversion Kana tool etc etc. And managed to get registered using the proxy address.
I was planning to have my proxy receive Thrust and charge me their handling and shipping fees.
Then wham BANG!
I was going to pay them VISA or Master but their system kept rejecting me despite already inputing a OTP
This sort off happened to me with Hb Pulse which kept rejecting my VISA (which Amazon USA and Japan accepts) but eventully cleared my Master card (hence I scored 1 Centurion set)
So now, I'm biting the bullet and getting my other proxy to handle everything (they always answer my email ASAP), which I thought I could have saved a bit with the direct purchase (d@mn you Takara Mall
.
Fyi, my local supplier that scored me the Pit of Judgement seems to be oblivious with Thrust. RK screwed me again with their wonky search engine and I have no access to Walmart.
So I am going via the proxy Takara Mall route. Not even touching anymore ebay 'cause the Taiwan lady who scored(with very affordable price range) me IH/Prowl,Rollerforce/Fuzer set, Bluestreak and Airwave has stop selling TFs. The rest are charging waaaaaaaaaay out there for Thrust.
I pray that Amazon won't drop the ball for my SS and Kingdom orders.
May I insert myself? Yup. There are regional contracts. Like a certain detail decal company that enhances various TF products. In the USA, not registered but in Asia legit. So there is precedent for such stuff.

No, they just didn’t rotate the wings into the proper position, the stock images are all like thundercrackers left wing in the following pics. The wings can rotate in either direction

Does that mean they're assembled incorrectly on the stock images though? Because the photos here clearly show that they are indeed transformed that way and it isn't just an instance of them not being folded and the other seekers have them only go one way.
Fenrys
Contracts are regional, Hasbro Asia is not bound by Hasbro USA deals and vice versa

Maybe your facebook post on the exact same topic will yield you more people with the same answers the last 2 pages of this thread has. If it does, take to twitter with the same question.
FORT MAXie
SO Hasbro Asia violates Hasbro's contracts for the sake of a handful of sales?
Toy License Agreement – Lucas Licensing Ltd. and Hasbro Inc. – FindLaw

All I’m gonna say before being done with this conversation is that you’re wrong. Hasbro Asia stock usually comes out first, before USA stock, many online stores source from Hasbro Asia, hench the higher prices since they are imports. There is no scalping going on and I suggest you take efforts to further educate yourself on the matter before making unfounded claims and refusing to accept actual facts.

Yes they get them eventually not the day of.
Yes, eventually not the day of and I am very happy they get those figures too. I lived in Canada and was able to get a few TFers out of a Sears afterwards i learned they were never sold in the US and UK got alot more of them too, so limited figures to one area is horrible, so yes i am happy they do sell them in other markets, but this is US exclusive market item that is sold in another US market location with the exact same arrival dates of the US items where the Hasbro Asia items arrive at a different time because they are from a different batch. Check the est shipping dates of Hasbro Asia Thrust to Targets then that to TFsource, guess what one matches Target's dates.

Yes, they do sell the Netflix stuff, that's how places like Robot Kingdom (Hong Kong) and Daming Toys (Taiwan) have already released them. The Chosen Prime has also sold Netflix wave 2 figures, sourced from Hasbro Asia. People are literally giving you the information you are asking for and you are refusing to accept it.
SoundwaveSuperior
Not sure where you got the idea that only TFSource carries figures that are retailer exclusives in the US – The Chosen Prime, for example, typically carries Hasbro Asia imports as well. They have the Netflix figures: Netflix X Transformers: Siege Bumblebee
FORT MAXie
So no other place except TFsource in the US can get those Hasbro Asia products?
SoundwaveSuperior
"Only one place on the planet" – no. In Asian markets, items that are retailer exclusives in the US are typically available at general retail – we've been repeatedly explaining this to you. And yes, that includes the Netflix figures – Netflix wave 2 is already out at Asian retail.
BBTS has a direct partnership with Hasbro US, and doesn't import Hasbro Asia stock of items that are retailer exclusives in the US so as to not cause any issues with their relationship with Hasbro (for example, Hasbro US asked BBTS to stop selling the Seacons, since they're supposed to be Pulse exclusive in the US, and BBTS obliged). TFSource does not appear to have the same direct relationship with Hasbro US, and so feels free to import anything and everything from Hasbro Asia to resell here.
FORT MAXie
HASBRO Asia does not sell any of the netflicks stuff so how did he get that and it's the timing what part of that do you not understand? what part of exclusives that only once place on the planet has listed for sale and TFsource, not BBTS or Entertainment Earth, Ages3andup, Toy Dojo, Robot Kingdom, or any of those stores post up their stuff as quickly as TFsource IE the same day as new stuff just say Target and TFsource or Walmart and TFsource or Hasbro Pulse and TFsource yet they are exclusives to all those stores none are TFsource yet TFsource is listed. Do you honestly think Hasbro is sitting there thinking hey we just charged someone 30 thousand to have these 16,000 exclusive figures but let's have an exception clause where TFsource gets some too and can charge whatever they want for them too? I understand you are not TFsource is scalping off those websites, it's so obvious to most people it's not funny, far from it.

Be a Jedi my brethren. Maybe something was lost in translation.

The wings have the same exact connection point as the other earthrise seekers, all of the photos are wrong
Raiyuki
So does this mean Thrust’s wings transform the wrong way afterall?
Fenrys
HASBRO Asia. What about that do you not understand?
SoundwaveSuperior
You understand that Hasbro Asia and Takara are different, right? Takara's only market is Japan, while Hasbro Asia serves the rest of Asia. Hasbro Asia typically releases everything that Hasbro US does, but items that are retailer exclusives in the US are usually all available at all retailers over there (and usually come out first over there). So yes, American sites can easily order non-exclusive stock of these from Hasbro Asia, at a higher price than they're sold for in the US.
