Via Hobby Dengeki we can share for you information about the Japanese release of the Bumblebee Movie Bumblebee Model Kit By Trumpeter.
This is an officially licensed model kit which features a great movie-accurate design. It’s a very easy-to-build kit which doesn’t need glue or painting. Once assembled, it stands 9.1 cm tall and features a pretty good articulation range. This model kit was originally released by Trumpeter for the Chinese market some months ago and now it will be released for the Japanese market by Tokyo-based company Doyusha. The box is the same as the original release but with Japanese text and keeping Trumpeter logo on it. It’s priced ¥3,781 ($38.35 approximately) and scheduled for release in January 2021.

No clue. Not an expert on painting but if you can't strip the paint, can you either sand it off or prime over it
SPLIT LIP
Nope, look at the very first post. There’s a larger scale Bumblebee in the works, with Optimus and Blitzwing proposed but unlikely given how long it’s been.

Larger one ?
I thought Trumpeter only did smaller ones

Does anyone know a solvent that will remove the factory paint without attacking the underlying plastic? I tried to use isopropyl alcohol to strip the factory paint, but that did not work. Nothing happened, no reaction at all. Then I tried Satellite city CRK-H-SS Super Solvent, which has never attacked plastic before, and it totally ate up the Ravage cassette. Luckily I was able to save the backside. Has anyone successfully removed the factory paint and done a repaint of your own?

I'm actually excited for this because I've long wanted to repaint that design, give it a new head, and make it more "Hot Rod-y," but the SS figure is too complex that it probably wouldn't be doable given it transforms. The model, however, wouldn't have that problem.
Panzertron
It seems Hot Rod is comming…

Of course it's bumblebee again I kind of wanted wheeljack or someone from the bee movie cast
VVa
But ThreeZero released that two years ago!
SPLIT LIP
Really wish that larger scale BBM Bee would come out already.
Panzertron
There we go!!!
Superstar
Aren\'t they gonna reveal the next model kit?
It\'s been 2 months since the last one
snokoan
From the soundwave box in the back it has starscream it could be next and they can do the rest or starscream could be their last one if it's the second option then it's sad to heat I really wanted that wheeljack
BlackHawkOmega
not that i know of
SPLIT LIP
I mean, they're a fraction of the size and price of Yolopark, and I'd say these are better designed than TT's models. Is TT even still doing Transformers models?
BlackHawkOmega
They're great because they're a good size and not too expensive. Yolopark charges far too much
PixelMagic
These just aren't very good compared to Yolopark or Takara Tomy.
BlackHawkOmega
yeah now that we got most of the designs in studio series, i've kinda lost any interest in a lot of the models except that larger bee
SPLIT LIP
I'm just annoyed that we still haven't seen hide nor hair of that larger scale Bumblebee with the more intricate engineering. I'm not sure why these things take years to materialize.
BlackHawkOmega
no

Any updates on who is next in the line
