Not enough appreciation going on for that beautiful Roche cover. I want it as a poster.

Awesome explanation of the view the vast amount of the silent major has. Seriously…I could not have stated it any better.

Finally! Thanks : )
BB Shockwave
Wow, Wreckers! Can't wait. And not everyday I see Decepticons offering Grimlock advice. Guess he has "street cred" with the coneheads, he is so badass even his enemies respect him.
This does explain though why Grimmy never used his sword in the fight against Shockwave – got disintegrated.
Amen to that! I see this a lot these days, the good old "if you don't like it stop sharing your opinion" argument that is barely an argument. People just wish to live in an echo chamber and do not like opinion that goes counter to theirs.

"That begs the question, do the vanquished deserve to have their legacies erased?"
It might raise the question, TF writer, but it does not beg the question.

Nice preview. Gonna miss this series. Wonder will we get another one. This was cool.

Nah man, we'd just prefer artwork that didn't look like cheap Tumblr trash because some of us have an archaic concept known as 'standards' and if we're gonna shell out cash on a comic it'd be nice if it was actually worth the money.
If IDW listened to 'them' a bit more they probably wouldn't be bleeding cash at the rate they are at the moment. Instead they've been listening to people who appear to be experts at losing money. :^)
But to answer your first question good sir, yes, we do have to do this every time. Because it's actually not against the rules to be critical so you getting worked up over hearing an opposing view serves no purpose other than to muddy up the thread. The guy wasn't even being critical he was just saying "finally, artwork that looks like more effort went into it than none at all."
Hans
Roche's art is just not my cup of tea (sorry), but I love that cover by Casey Coller. He and Guido are definitely my favourite Transformers artists by far. Weird that we haven't seen a proper 5-page preview yet… I hope this really does come out tomorrow.
Will be my last comicbook for a while. Untill the next book by either Guidi, Coller, Furman or Roberts comes out : )

IDW’s Transformers ’84: Secrets and Lies, Issue #4 Coller and Roche Covers Line Art – Transformers News – TFW2005
Shepard Prime
Drawing an illustration of one transformer is entirely different than cranking out 20 pages of multiple transformers, settings and storytelling month in and month out consistently.
It's why Milne and Roche for instance is so good because they don't just draw the tech, they're able to visually show them having emotion and body language past the usual stock-type action poses of TFs shooting or punching each other.

An homage to Last Stand of the Wreckers #1! That's cool!

Oh my lord. Must have all covers.
Hey bud, your "boxes on top of boxes" and "blocky legos" look like that?
Lol. Don't get your hopes up.

He said he did it in minutes, maybe he's got a youtube video… I want to see "boxes on top of boxes" and "big blocky giant legos." Totally comparable to professional artists.

Post your drawing please.

Boxes on top of boxes? Have you ever taken an art class?
If your vocabulary is any indication of your artwork, I'd stop.
