Amazon.jp have updated a listing for a new Transformers Beast Wars Beast Generation book (mook format) for the Japanese market.
This mook covers Beast Wars toys releases from 1997 to 2004 including both Japanese and US releases (including RID Predacons) with new pictures, information, interviews with developers, trivia and more (in Japanese). A great visual material for any Beast Wars fan. The book is listed for 4,378 Yen ($41.54 approximately) and expected for release in December 3 this year.
See some sample pages after the jump, thanks to Weibo user liumeiwang, after the break. Let us know your impressions on the 2005 Board!

Very much looking forward to that. I've got the old Micron Legend Yearbook but it only covers Armada.
I hope if they do a Unicron Trilogy book it included Universe, which really should have been in the BW book given it's strong links to the toylines there, and Robotmasters both of which are contemporary with the Unicron Trilogy

I really hope we don’t have to wait another 20 years for the next Generations Mook (for the Micron Trilogy).

Oh yeah, that is much better. Much easier on the eyes. Yeah, makes you wonder what’s up with the red, but I’m glad the final product doesn’t look like that.

The ones in The First Post? They're not actually in the book and the pages there don't bear much relation to the book which uses white backgrounds seen in this post above
I've wondered about those red background images a bit over time. Trial layout? Promos? Or actually from something else entirely?
Mako Crab
Cool, but why so much red? Those pages are just oozing with red, red, red.

This looks so good!! I wish it would be released in English, but love the pics and that the Beasts are finally getting more love!

Wow- I had it preordered there too, and it was fulfilled. That sucks.
Primacron
I had this preordered at HLJ but now is listed as discontinued on their site. Does that mean they’re not getting it or fulfilling orders? (I’ve not used them before.)
Any suggestions on where else to get it?

General merchandise like sofubi, capsule and roleplay toys are covered in one "Extra" page for BWII but that's about it.
Leo Primus
Does this book cover supplementary lines like the Super Deformed figurines and such? Or is it just the transformable stuff?

Thanks!

Forgot to reply. Done (for both Generations books).

There was Brave though which is as close to being Transformers as it's possible to be without being Transformers
See above, page 80 as an insert into the 1993 section.
Several of the later extended RiD releases – the Destructicons, Stealth Bomber, Ruination, yellow Landfill – are in Aramada style packaging albeit with a RiD logo.

Dinobots are same style but, as with Beast Machines Dinobots, just a Dinobot Logo

That’s the answer I was looking for. I could swear Takara never had a skip year like Hasbro.
It was? I need to look at mine again. Maybe I just forgot.
I didn’t even think of them.. Thanks for the reminder.
Yeah, the Walmart Dinobots were in Armada style packaging. If I hadn’t repurposed them, I’d put them in AEC. When I had mine on display, my own personal canon was that they were the original 5 Dinobots (and Slapper) returning to lead all of the BM Dinobots. It was a nice big display. I’ve got them all boxed up now..

You could also help me with that regard. If you have other buddies and even here at tfw2005, please email them at Vizdotcom. It's an anime publishing house. This is their customer support [email protected]
Maybe mention the Generations mook and your desire to have it localized to english. Who knows, if the emails reach critical mass, they might attempt to license and localize it?
