Third party company Zeta Toys, via their Weibo account, have shared images of their new special variants of their Superitron combiner (Masterpiece Scale Superion).
ZB-06 Superitron features a new metallic finishing while ZB-07 Superitron is another alternative in clear plastic. Both are limited releases of only 500 units. They are planned for release by January 2021. A very nice alternative for your Masterpiece display.

Exactly. The first iteration of both Zeta combiners weren't available as "All bots in one box", that came after. The bots in the individual boxes never had any other color than "toon deco".

They meant the 'original basic version only in individual boxes', I think. In which case they're correct. Kronos was never a box-set (only Superitron was) and neither was Armageddon in the OG deco.

Not true. There are several Bruticus boxes sets that aren't metallic.

Boxed set is definitely the metallic version. Regular color was only available in seperate boxes, same with Armageddon/ Bruticus, afaik.

I seem to recall the easiest way to tell the versions apart were that the feet were different.

So did I! I had some credit so it made it a no-brainer at $350. I saw where TFSource already raised it back to $400. Did you get yours yet? My box doesn't say anything about it being the Metallic version and I'm having a hard time telling is it's the painted version or not. If it is the painted one, it is barely noticeable.

I didn't get him "new", but had to snag him up in OG colors 2nd hand – No regrets. He's a true behemoth and although 5 years old, he holds up really well!
