The 1 thing that I think they should do is release more Fossilizers or even more Weaponizers/Modulators. Considering the lack of Weaponformers (the WFC Battle Masters and Micromasters), they need more weapons to counteract the lack of Weaponformers.
G.B. Blackrock
I'd totally go for that. I'm making do with this custom (I didn't create it myself) from back in the PVC era.

If I could have thought of a good mold re-use to make Marvel FortMax, I would have included him for a Marvel 77-79 themed set (with little PeopleMasters* of Circuit Breaker, et al), which I'm sure would have an audience in the mid-dozens

yes please!!!
and you just made me realize there is a RED figure I'd actually pay money for…

I think Galvatron as one two pack and Megatron/Ratchet as another would work well.
It'd be kind of cool to see Earthrise/Siege Megs with silver shins and a black helmet. But I think Soundwave would be the standout in purple.
A part of me would prefer Marvel decos lean hard on G2 since Megatron's already got a headstart on that and many of the Marvel decos are of characters who had no G2 deco.
G2 Hot Rod would be tempting in Marvel or Fleetway G2 colors. This is the kind of thing I'd like to see from future Pulsecons.
Thundershot
The minibots size changes depending on the episode and who they’re standing next to. And the Marvel comics had them small as well. #KeepTheMinibotsMini
Dammit Bob! The bad thing about that is that it would be $100 and I’d want at least three sets! Fortunately, Ratchet doesn’t have a history with Galvatron, so it’s unlikely…
They should do a subline like they do with the Netflix line and upcoming Headmasters line and have it be a Marvel Classics line with those characters, a comic accurate Blaster, Grimlock, Fort Max, etc. I’d be flipping broke.
Trooper028
Agreed. I'd love to get Brawn and Windcharger too.
Matthew Haskett
Objectively a better figure.
Fenrys
Agreed. Cliffjumper is honestly a better figure than any of the legends figures
Ramberk Magnus
I agree and disagree. The increase in price hurts and makes it harder to justify the purchase of a smaller figure. On the other hand, I like the build quality of deluxe Cliffjumper. I'm really not a big fan of the quality of figures we got most of the time in the legends price point. I prefer paying more for better looking figures, even if they are smaller then pay less for very unappealing figures. That's just me though.
Bob Schoonover
Marvel Ratchet, Megatron, and Galvatron would be quite the 3 pack . . .
G.B. Blackrock
I'm still waiting on my Marvel Ratchet….
RodimusRex
My point is that MOST of the minibots — if we're going media scale — aren't minibots.
Gears and Huffer are a bit taller than Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. Warpath, Powerglide, etc. are between Refraktor and Sunstreaker's heights.
We've already gotten the smallest deluxes we're going to get unless the Insecticons and Wheelie get released as Deluxes.
Most of the mini-bots would be standard Deluxe size with the shortest being Refraktor height.
I agree the $3 price hike at the same time feels tone deaf but for a handful of figures to finish a 1984 shelf, I'll certainly pay it.
Maybe what would be optimal is a size class between Core and Deluxe. But if Gears comes out and has gaps and ball joints, I'd probably be among those who'd say, "I'd have paid $23 for him to be Cliffjumper quality."
Effigy
Prowl was $19.99 though….
I just think that going hard into the minibots at deluxe prices when they were always legends before AND doing it with a $3 price increase is a bit tone-deaf.
Nemesisprime1975
Media scale is never consistent. Marvel UK never got the scales right. At least hasbro are trying now to do consistent scale across the lines. It took them only what 36 years?
