Via TonTon Review on Youtube we have our first in-hand images of the new Transformers Kingdom Deluxe Class Warpath.
Kingdom not only brought new Beast Wars molds but some other fan-favorite characters. KABOOM! Warpath is back in a great new mold. Tank mode is pretty detailed and close to the G1 cartoon proportions KAZOWY! Robot mode is another great take on the G1 cartoon design which had some nods to the G1 toy. Another pretty articulated figure with an intuitive and fun transformation. Some comparison shots next to War For Cybertron Bumblebee and Earthrise Sunstreaker reveal that he’s just a bit smaller than previous Deluxes which seems to work well in scale.
We are sure many fans will be pleased with this new Warpath incarnation, but it comes a big question for those fans who still have the already great Generations Warpath from 2011 Will you replace him with the new Kingdom Wartpath?

Sunbow Prime
That face makes him look like a Predator. I bought him here:

The crimson commando trio!
JJJ
None that I've noticed, and I've transformed mine quite a few times (as well as moving the parts around a lot while trying to find out why it wouldn't hold together properly).
Gumblor Gimbles
Are there issues with paint chipping?
JJJ
Which is all of them. All of the ridges on the inside of the hip piece kept the thighs from moving in far enough.
Missing Sunset
Or rather, the ones that would obstruct.
JJJ
All of them.

Mine also closes up tight without the use of the shield. View attachment 28953142

Can you circle which ridges you removed?
JJJ
I can confirm that removing those ridges now allows the tank to hold together perfectly well without the shield piece.

it's also on the quick reply box at the bottom of threads

Okay, thanks.
Ah, I see why I've never seen it, it isn't in the basic forum options, you have to reply and then go to more options.
So here's the view from below, and also the ridges in question.

At the bottom of the post box, to the right of "post reply," is "upload a file." Hit that, and select a picture or picture from your device, and it will upload them to the server.

Use the "upload a file" button next to the post reply.

Nope, I have no idea how you do pictures here, except via hosting sites, which I won't use.
Missing Sunset
Do you have a picture of how the underside of your tank mode looks?
Robogeek28
You weren't paying attention then when it was found out about Cliffy.
JJJ
That's a very good question.
Do your thigh pieces have ridges on the inside that keep the thighs from swinging in far enough to end up parallel? Because that's why mine won't hold together; the legs have constant outward pressure on them.
Missing Sunset
Okay, what am I doing differently that makes the extra shield piece necessary for anything but aesthetics? Tank holds together fine even with spastic movement.

Not fussed about the parts-forming. Or any parts-forming (although I do strongly dislike the shield thing, wherever it shows up).
What bothered me was the way Hasbro appears to have added something that actively works against transforming the toy. Bizarre design decision.
