Transformers Generations Selects Deluxe Spinout and Cordon 2-Pack $39.99
A pre-G1 classic! The Transformers Generations Selects Deluxe Spinout and Cordon 2-Pack draws inspiration from classic Diaclone toys released before the original Transformers toy line from Hasbro. The white Cordon and the red Spinout are ready for battle against the Decepticons as some of the elite Autobot warriors that just never quite made it into their biggest adventures. These WFC-GS20 Cordon and Autobot Spin-Out figures are Hasbro’s first U.S. release of the characters. These characters are based on two of the original Takara Tomy Diaclone figures. Originally, the Spin-Out Diaclone was redeo’d yellow and released as Sunstreaker, now a Sunstreaker figure returns the favor. WFC-GS20 set designed for ages 8 and up.
These WFC-GS20 Cordon and Autobot Spin-Out figures are our first U.S. release of the characters. Paying homage to the OGs of converting toys, these characters are based on two of the original Takara Tomy Diaclone figures. Originally, the Spin-Out Diaclone was redeo’d yellow and released as Sunstreaker, now a Sunstreaker figure returns the favor. Cordon and Autobot Spin-out figures both convert from robot to sportscar modes in 16 steps and each figure comes with a blaster accessory that attach to the figures in robot and sportscar modes. Includes Generations Selects Deluxe Class Cordon and Autobot Spin-out figure, 2 accessories, and instructions.

Yeah that makes the most sense. The only thing on shelves around here has been Rotb mainline for months. Hasbro should adjust their selling strategy to the target audience.

And then release a leader class undersized copy of the figure. I can dream.
DaveWire
Woohoo! SG Prime and Ratchet are back up on Pulse. Just grabbed them.
EDIT: Aaaaaaand it’s gone.

Need Magnus and maybe Armada Prime
Hyuk…I deeed eet.

I'd be down for this. It's what Ball Jointed Doll sellers do and works just fine for collectors.

I could see Hasbro (and other toy/ collectable places) move to a "made to order" model, where every item is put up for preorder 12 months early and they produce that many. Everybody who orders during that window gets what they order. Stores don't seem all that concerned about getting new product or stocking their shelves anyways.
AMAC
While I love they are reissuing more, I really hope they don’t follow your preference and move to an “initially-small production run model”. That would mean far less deals and an increase in scalpers as we wait for a reissue. Be careful what you ask for! If they would do this across the board, it would drive so many people out due to frustration creating a downward spiral. Hasbro is a business with investors. Production needs to meet forecasts that support realistic growth, and if a product’s demand far exceeds supply, then reissue it two years later leading to more growth (reference Jetfire reissue cadence). Fixing distribution would alleviate a lot of the Cosmos like problems.

Oh that reminds me I have a spare SS86 Ultra Magnus. Need to decide what to do with it!
BethCyra
With all the reissues I absolutely expect to see a Magnus reissue before long.
He sold out pretty quick and rumor was his run wasn’t even that large? Get more of the big guy out there Joe Hasbro.

I really like that Hasbro is doing more and more re-issuing. While some products shelfwarm for ages, other stellar ones (particularly exclusives – I’m looking at you, Soundwave and Cosmos) sell out far too quickly. Any casual Transformers figure collector can tell anyone about the insanity of the secondary market on consumers.
Through sales data and fan feedback via social media and forums like TFW2005, Hasbro has plenty of ways to keep its finger on the pulse (no pun intended) of what’s desirable and has a high probability of producing more income. Re-issuing these products keeps fans happy and makes money for the business. Win/win.
I’d be fine if Hasbro moves to an initially-small production run model to test the sales waters as long as a re-issue is likely for the popular items.

I'm just gonna collect 'em all. Clear-windowed versions stay in alt mode, opaque-windowed versions stay in robot mode, and I never have to transform any of them again. I win!
TF Hot Rod
Will always take the clear windows over the bland bright blue, but I'll admit, it's starting to grow on (aka I hate it less) with this recent pack and turning to the dark side.
omegafix
Yeah, I'm so done with clear plastic
Neko-bot77
So long as those multipacks are painted windows G1 guys I'm fine with that!
doomtron
All this re issuing and new stuff hasbro has me covered in this anniversary year
TF Hot Rod
The sad part is I wouldn't be totally mad because we wouldn't have to wait for them, scummy as it would be (and is).
omegafix
They will make new molds of Seaspray Windcharger and Powerglide and release each of them in separate multipacks

Hasbro after seeing the sales of the 5-pack when they put Hound in it:

Probably either in SS86 or in another gen selects multipack (Datsun 3-pack PLEASE)
Nemesis251
Sadly, you're probably right.
