Takara’s official Twitter page has dropped a teaser for an upcoming Generations Selects figure, featuring a silhouette that seems oddly familiar. The kanji on the teaser reads “Wild Beast Warriors are back” which indicates the potential for a team or at the very least characters with beast alternate modes.
For now the only other info we have is pure speculation, but in the meantime be sure to join the discussion below to share your thoughts and excitement!

Yes it does. They’re all 5mm.

Can the TDW hands hold the swords that come with the Takara version?
foxracing
Mini wings from Beastbox Havok.

I would try it out first and not ram them in there they are supposed to be friction tight maybe slight sand on a side over all the way around but progress slightly around with light strokes if you find it's too snug but I would def be hesitant on sanding or trying to ram the pegs in.
poisoncow
Yes it will. I have their Volcanicus and Abominus kits. I sanded the pegs on both sets of feet and have had zero issues.
ziltama
3p groups did that for a tighter fit, which was dumb because it just ended up breaking or cracking ports.
T-Hybrid
Shoot I had heard people having that issue with the stock feet already. Is it something sanding the pegs on the TDW kit would potentially avoid?
FORT MAXie
I use the TDW kit and did manage to snag the upgrade that has a cape it's the same as the Starscream one just black over purple. I heard some had issues with the Perfect effect upgrade installing was an issue some bought a 2nd Grimlock because of it and if you got the Takara Tomy version then def go with the TDW kit that is designed for it. I did hear the feet pegs can be too large and cause the 5mm ports to snap on some of the figures for both thou mine are okay. I will attach the 2 pics sorry swoop has stickers now thou not in the pics and I have changed the weapons over to that combining one mostly.

Yeah the arms are compulsory (original arms glued together) as it has additional pegs to lock in with the backpack. Thighs are a pretty straightforward swap with one screw on each. So yes, TDW might be more for you.
T-Hybrid
Do you *need* to disassemble Grimlock to install the PE kit, though? Because I know it has the leg extensions but I'm not in the mood to crack open figures.
That's the appeal of DW for me. It's all plug-and-play.
foxracing
Comparing them both, PE is way more secure and looks better with the wider waist/hips. Except for the chest piece and thigh fillers, TDW's is nicer with the details and silver paint.
T-Hybrid
I've been going back and forth on upgrade kits. I'm leaning towards Dreamwave because it doesn't require taking anything apart.
What do people think of that one?
foxracing
Messing around today.

"Me, Grimlock, have Buster Swords."

It’s GS Volcanicus w/ TWF06t upgrade kit. However, the chest plate and the shoulder plates cannot fit into the body. They are very loose. I don’t know why but just give up using them. The other parts are fine and they make the whole structure even more solid.
Zaragon
The wings can be removed with a soldering iron, that's how I did mine. Generation Selects Red Swoop is now just a pile of reject parts in a box. (Well, one of them is, anyway–I bought two PotP Swoops and two GS Red Swoops so that I could keep one of each in original condition.)
Don't know if a hair dryer would work, the wings are flexible and could distort from the heat. If they do, they might warp away from the body of the figure, which would prevent the notches on the wings from engaging the tabs on the body, making it impossible to lock them in the "up" position.
Cardion
I'm just here waiting for the Cyberverse Volcanicus. Let me know if you hear anything.
