Fans Hobby, via their Facebook account, have uploaded images of the the gray prototype of their latest project: MB-13 Ace Hitter (Masterforce Headmaster Jr. Goshooter / Siren).
This figure is inspired by Goshooter from the G1 Japan Masterforce cartoon (which was based in G1 Headmaster Siren). The mold looks very cartoon-accurate in both modes with a highly posable robot mode. Of course, he has a functional Headmaster unit which is pretty articulated for its size and fits inside the car mode. A very nice companion for MB-12 Athena (Masterforce Minverva).
We still have no concrete information on price or release date yet, but stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates. Now click on the discussion link below and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

I’ve been enjoying my figure, but has anyone else had issues with rust on some of the metal pins? I can’t tell if it’s rust or some sort of black paint rub off, but I see it on the pin holding the headmaster legs in place, and on one of the panel hinges on the legs of them larger robot.

Finally got ahold of both these boys. Overall I'm super satisfied. Their transformation does feel like a mid-step between the other two. Kap's pretty easy going with a small order of operations with the inner leg panel but once you know it's easy. Athena is a touch fiddly in the arms and the legs have exactly one way to avoid clearance issues that I never remember. Ace and Red's limbs are clear and logical, but I find working the doors back into car mode a bit cluttered.
And all three are slightly annoying to get the driver in place, space for them always feels more like a quirk of design than intention.

Finally got my red buzzer. Overall, I really like it. My only two major criticisms are: 1) with all the blue plastic, there was no reason to paint the Headmaster’s head blue. It just means that paints gonna scrape every time you pop it in or pull it out of the next joint of the main body. 2) There was no reason to make the panels above the tech specs stickers. If they were just going to be three squares of colors rather than actual text, they should’ve been paint apps. I just don’t see much point in putting those stickers on. I thought it was going to be “Str, Int, Spd” not red, yellow, and blue.

Looks great

Had to paint the arms and antenna of the headmaster figure… I think it just completed the look. Well done Fans Hobby! And, just added the photo I'm using for my Tech Spec for Siren!

Your choice I guess. But Fans Hobby respond quickly to queries and requests.

I only popped in briefly since I still had work. I didn't scan through the whole video to realize both first halves got swapped

It's likely because the first few minutes were what I mentioned, that he's referencing the title cards.
Kuma Style
Yea they're reuploading but if he's talking about the title card he isn't referring to that.

After the intro, it's MB-12 Athena and MB-12A Nitewalker. Not till 6:29 in, that you have Ace Hitter / Red Buzzer
On your Athena/Nite Walker, it shows the opposite.
Requiem Prime
yeah you swapped the title cards

So there's no need to contact my seller first?
I really have no luck with Fans Hobby. First Minerva's head was stuck, now both hip joints on my Ace Hitters headmaster won't move at all. Tried very, very gently to move one leg and it snapped off. Now I need a complete new lower section as I don't see a way to remove the legs from the ball joints.
Thanks
