A ladder, duh…

It's kinda nice that some large toys are at retail though at all, as finding the Giant size toys of an earlier age was a lot harder. Just imagine how much easier it is to get a Scorponok foranyone who wants one now – compared to someone in the 1980's wanting a large Gi Joe toy or something like a Fortress Maximus (mail order catalogues aside).
I never saw a Generations Trypticon or Metroplex in a store myself – I had to order both of those online too, so online ordering is a handy thing to have, we have access to almost anything now – (heck there is no way I'd have been able to get a Bump of Chicken Bumblebee in a pre-internet age that's for sure) whereas it only took a bit of mild begging to get one.

I presume it would be something to do with the fact that figures like Omega and Scorponok aren’t every day purchases by parents for their kids so they don’t order as many in unlike Forbidden Planet (bit debatable on that one) or other places like Kapow and ID Toys which are mostly collector orientated who get a decent chunk of orders so I once again presume they’re prioritised in stock first.
Happy to help!

Yes they do trail behind online a bit. I guess it also depends on if one counts things like a Forbidden Planet as retail or not – as some do some don't.
You did remind me though it's been nearly a month since I bought an Omega Supreme and forgot to open him "opps".

I think this is for physical store locations that you can go and get it in person rather than online retail.
Super helpful for me personally who never buys figures larger than leader class online if I can help it, don’t have reliable delivery in my area outside of Royal Mail.

I bought mine on the 11th of July so he's been out in the UK quite some time now.

Heh, I'm not in the UK, and this photo will probably be the only way I get to see this thing on store shelves. Is it pathetic? Yeah, I guess. lol

You have to ask a staff member to get them down for you, and apparently they put the larger and more expensive items up at the top so they don’t get damaged by kids throwing a tantrum. At least that’s what I was told when I asked the same question when I picked up Omega last year.

I'm saving £21 by ordering him from amazon.co.uk. He's back at £140 now, but when i checked a month ago, he was about £118 so I jumped on him. I have to wait until September though, but thats a good price imo.
Scarlet knight
How do people expect to reach him when he's up that high?

Thanks to you for your report!

Woo thanks for the the shout out.
He's also showing up at Warrington Smyths too now, though I've not been in to confirm. Deffo glad I picked Scorponok up, he's awesome sauce!

On the way to pick mine up right now! Thanks @Lockdown91. I probably would have missed this one
