Third Party company Shockwave Lab have uploaded, via their Weibo account, images of their new SL-81 Energy Sword for Siege Jetfire.
This accessory is inspired by Jetfire’s sword seen in the new Netflix’s War For Cybertron trailer. It’s made of clear plastic and it can be attached to Jetfire’s arm or in his back.
We still have no concrete information on price or release date. It should not take long since Shockwave Lab upgrade kits are usually available online once they share images of the product. See the mirrored images after the jump and then share your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Alright thanks.

Received my replacement blade, which has been working fine so far.
For the blade that I repaired (don't completely trust the epoxy bond), I'll try to change the color to the bluish purple seen in the show.
Edit: Well, it's a dark purple now. It's so hard to change clear blue plastic to a different color, even the 3d printed stuff.
Night Flame
I saw a few available on eBay.

Can anyone show me where I can get it from besides \"TfSafari\"?
SuperGiantThing
This is actually what I was contemplating on, I would like to use a few but not all of them. If the price was a bit lower I think I would get them right away. I have had the issue of not wanting to use them all but feel some sort of guilt for not utilizing the whole sheet.

Yeah, that's the reprolabels set on my copy. I'm torn on it- I wanna say I like maybe 75% of it, but which 75% I couldn't tell you. I think it definitely enhances the figure, but I don't think I should have used all of them, because it looks a little too busy. I just don't know which ones i should've left out.
SuperGiantThing
Do you have reprolabels on yours? Would you recommend them? I'm on the fence about getting them. I got the blade and the black antenna thing for him and was looking to see how I could enhance the figure some more.

TFSafari has great customer service. Getting sent a replacement blade for the one that broke without doing anything to it.
So far, the attempted repair is surviving my son.
TFSafari got their restock.

Finally got this after it went all over the ATL:

I'm kicking myself for not ordering two of these though.

These things are bad-ass. Considering buying another set and attempting to dye them a bit darker for my "evil" Jetfire I'm working on, though not sure how that'd work out. I'll have to kick the idea around a bit.
ziltama
I barely had enough slack in the base to fix the other one without visible damage on the outside. You can still see the cracked line and repair from the inside only.
I would feel better about it if I could've done my normal pin and epoxy repairs (drill tiny hole to insert metal nail as pin, which then acts as new skeleton to handle stresses, and then use epoxy to bind everything together). The pin would've shown through the blade. We'll see if it holds up to my son playing with it.
Night Flame
Your one solid one looks rad, FWIW.
Mine's been sitting at the Chicago airport for five days at this point. Beginning to lose patience.
ziltama
No, feels solid so far *knock on wood*.

Sad that one's snapped out of the package. Does the unbroken one feel like it might snap easy?
ziltama
I received mine in the mail and ordered 2. Unfortunately, one of them snapped right away without doing anything to it. The other is working fine. Disappointing one broke. Otherwise, they look really nice, despite being 3d printed. The white base part is even painted over to match Jetfire's white, which is a really nice touch. I might have enough slack in the base to repair the other one.

I change my tv color settings for just about anything I watch so maybe it just looked better to me that way and the blue sword was a coincidence
ziltama
May need to calibrate TV then. Default settings tend to be way off and people's homes are not showrooms for various TV models.
Those are direct screen captures from Netflix in web browser with no color editing. Computer monitors, although still needing calibration, tend to be more accurate than TVs.
