Comic-Con@Home begins in two weeks and by annual tradition, we have your first look at the daily program schedule. Saturday’s schedule includes the following panels of interest to Transformers fans (all times listed are PDT):
Saturday, July 25 • 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Look ahead to everything new from IDW Publishing! Learn what’s next for your favorite series and much, much more! There’s nowhere better to get a behind-the-scenes look at IDW than this conversation with Chris Ryall (IDW president, publisher, and chief creative officer), John Barber (IDW editor-in-chief), and moderator George Gene Gustines (senior editor at the New York Times).
Saturday, July 25 • 4:00pm – 5:00pm
Comic-Con has been home to some of the greatest action figures of all time, and every year fans try their hardest to get the toy they need. However, the history and checklists for these are sometimes tougher to find than the figures themselves. Blake Schultz (Hollywood Already Did It) and Justin Donaldson (Tournament of Nerds) explore the history of SDCC exclusive figures along with their guests: Randy Falk (NECA), Bill Miekina (Mattel), and Rocom (Hasbro) to discuss their time creating toys for Comic-Con, and how it has changed over the years.
What are your burning questions for these panels? Stay tuned for more Transformers-related Comic-Con@Home updates as the event approaches and join in the discussion on the 2005 boards!
Panel access instructions: Once the daily schedules go live, you’ll be able to read the descriptions and decide what you’d like to see. The majority of our panels will also be available AFTER the July 22-26 dates, although there are some that may have a limited time period attached to them. Each panel will contain a link; when you click on that link, you’ll launch another page that has the panel video embedded on it … that video will be available on the date and time listed. When it’s available, simply push play and watch! It’s that simple.
All the panels will also be available on the Comic-Con YouTube channel, so you can also access them there. Subscribe to us on YouTube.com at https://www.youtube.com/user/ComicCon
