After some time of silence, third party company TransFormMission, via their Weibo account, have announced the release of a special TFM-01 Havoc Metallic Version 5-Pack (IDW Menasor).
This take on Menasor is based in Don Figueroa’s design from the IDW Transformers comics first run. This time, Havoc will be released as a gift set including the 5 components with a new astonishing electroplated metallic finishing. The figures are planned for the CHUG scale and they include rubber tires, individually articulated combiner hands, an optional “screaming face” for Menasor, all packed in an impressive size. We still have no concrete information on price or release date, but stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates.
Check out the promotional images after the jump, as well as some in-hand images thanks to TransFans, and then join to the ongoing discussion on the 2005 Boards!

Damn, gonna be very careful transforming that area from now on.

Was browsing on Facebook, found another copy breaking almost exactly in the same spot
BATTLEMASTER
I believe that's close to the same hip ratchet design used for CW Motormaster/Menasor that allows for outward leg movement.
BIOMEC
That sucks… Interesting type of ratchet for the hip assembly
Yeah, that's why I don't play with mine! It's only a display piece… "Their" Superion also suffers from this…
BATTLEMASTER
15 mm? That's 1.5 cm for the thinnest plastic, unless I'm misunderstanding something, or the scale of the pictures is deceiving.
EDIT: I'm talking about wall thickness. For example, many of Hasbro's Transformers figures have a wall thickness of around 2 mm. In my experience, 2 mm of 3D-printed plastic is pretty durable. With my current equipment, I can probably print 0.8 mm at the thinnest, limited by the extrusion nozzle's diameter (0.4 mm).
MatrixBearer85
I just checked, its around 15.2 to 15.3 mm
BATTLEMASTER
How thick is the thinnest plastic there? That doesn't look very sturdy.
If anyone wants to give up their broken pieces I'd be willing to design and print replacements. But if the plastic is as thin as it looks to me, that may be difficult to print usable.

@BIOMEC Seems what we talked about a while back was true, that’s very unfortunate. If that can happen to the normal set, The Chrome set’s plastic definitely isn’t great for supporting weight.
MatrixBearer85
Yeah here
crotch part is so shattered, this is from the first wave of Motormaster which was 6 years ago
This is it when reconstructed

Actual Damage,

I think this is the culprit, the screw that connects both crotch part broke
View attachment 30200103
The black part also crumbled, its the piece that holds together the ratchet joints which i think is soft rubber. so yep, theres no fixing this with super glue

BIOMEC
Can you take pictures!?
MatrixBearer85
damn, so i was cleaning my Menasor and the left thigh popped out from the crotch area, it seems that there was a stress mark that pushed the ratchet joint out
aaaaannnnd , i found the same problem on a facebook post

Yeah and then sell it for $350 plus. How insulting.
DracoPrimal
Ive had mine up for sale for a bit, asked a local shop about buying it off of me… they told me "best I can do is maybe $75…"
BIOMEC
They are my MP IDW Stunticons, I hope Ocular Max release a G1 version in their all built in line
Or even better… An IDW MP version!
Kain124
They're not bad, Wildrider and Dead End can be a pain getting the feet under the roof of the car, but it's completely doable. I've transformed them a lot.
ThrustJan
Splendid pic and from what I m reading on some reviews Havoc stunticons are a lot funnier and simplier to transform
Kain124
Recently separated mine.

Menasor in combiner mode is menacing a lot ,fot this is one of my fav MP versions about him although i never owned it.
About Fansproject intimidator ,is more tedious and with more steps for transforming Stunticons in both modes and also combiner? I ask this because Havoc is considered funny to transform.
Dragonwheel
Assuming it is a screw?
My advice would be to fill the hole with a hardening or drying cement/putty.
Remove the broken plastic and screw, and use a self tapping screw of the same size to cut a new thread into the cement.
The thicker/deeper the thread, the more load it will be able to support.
