Via Hedgehog’s Corner website we have stock images of a new Transformers Kre-O Universal Studios Exclusive Kreon 4-pack third version.
This a new variant of this Universal exclusive Kreon pack which includes Megatron, Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and N.E.S.T Sentry. This character replaces Evac from the other previous variants.
Thanks to the information shared by convoy84 and Nevermore, we can also confirm that this means that the Universal Studios Transformers The Ride gift shop is no longer selling Evac figures. Other related merchandising to the character is still available though.

Now owning the first two sets, the figures share the same body construction.
The only noticeable differences for the second versions are…
– a flat display plate instead of the block display plate of the first version set.
– everyone has the black paint lines done a little thicker, so it stands out more (makes Megatron's feet look almost completely black)
– Evac – chromed weapons and darker blue plastic.
– Megatron – flat grey plastic instead of glossy plastic.
– Optimus – smokestacks are similarly flat grey instead of glossy grey, blue plastic is slightly darker, and the blue paint is lighter.
– Bumblebee – yellow plastic is slightly darker, grey gun is flat grey instead of glossy grey.

I did not! Actively looked for it, didn’t find it. Preordered mine on Pulse, anyway.
Easy: they want something that’s unique to Universal to incentivize a purchase. I know for sure Movieverse Ratchet already existed in Kreon form by the time these were out.

Same here. Why wouldn't they do Ironhide or Ratchet? Seems like a weird pick.

Mega Bloks became Mega Construx, and is still holding onto licences like COD, Halo, Terminator, MOTU, TMNT… it’s not dead really, but it’s not sold in the UK.
Cobi, a Polish brand, is on the rise with military vehicle sets. It got the licence to make Topgun jets to tie in with the new movie.
whilst all the shit ones are gone, the “fake Lego” brands that remain are doing quite well. I think Kreo could make a comeback if they stick to small sets to begin with.

My wild guess is that some considerable percentage of Evac toys sold at the ride goes to Bay and they want to stop writing big cheques, because TF5

I ordered this set on the Universal online store before news of the third variant broke. To my relief, it arrived today and was indeed the second version of this set, retaining Evac and using the updated Kreon bodies. Oddly enough, the set only came with one stand piece. I'd love to get more but given that Kre-O is dead, I may have to sub in some Lego stand pieces. Other than that, it's exactly what I'd hoped for. It's impressive how detailed the movie-style prints make the Kreons look.
Anyway, if you want this set, you can order it here at the Universal Studios online store. Get it before it's gone forever

The first Evac toys, if you’ll recall, were based on concept art; the Deluxe in particular was also only a 4-seater.

I was wondering why Evac had disappeared from the Universal online store. I guess like others have speculated the mold has likely degraded over time which is understandable considering they had to have the figure in stock constantly in Singapore, Hollywood, and Orlando. It was only a matter of time.

Also I don't think they're going to rebrand Evac as some generic NEST vehicle considering the 3D portion does have his arm come out at various points during the ride where he partially transforms.
Because it didn't sell well. Shame really cause given their compatibility with LEGO I was enjoying those little figures.
