Paramount is hosting a set of Twitter polls to see which classic movie they should re-release into theaters. Right now, Transformers 2007 is going heads up with World War Z. Represent the brand and show these zombie lovers what’s up!
Edit: Updated with links to round 2! It’s now Transformers vs. Grease.

I think the current climate of the world is affecting this and they want us to focus on that

So which movie won?

World War Z is a neutered mess designed to please "Winnie D Pooh"!
The true blue World War Z is like lightyears from that fiasco!

Well it never had to made for just G1 fans. But here's the thing, it should've been made for Transformers fans.
The entire series is a train wreck filmed by a man who was never a fan and didn't care how we felt about it.
Micheal Bay has made some pretty amazing and fun films, but he gave a crap about those and it has shown.
Just my opinion. Bumblebee may not have been the best Transformers film to many people, but I thought it was good. Especially the first ten minutes. That was everything we expected and never received as fans. That first ten minutes of Bumblebee was a dream come true and showed us all that it could be done right.

Heres the thing if the movie is made for only g1 fans that movie will bomb hard. No I'm not defending the bay movies. The reason why it would bomb hard is only the g1 fans will go and how many do you think there are in the world. One of the successes of the bay films was general audiences came and watched them they dont care about the cartoon they just want a movie and spend a few hours in a theater.

I'm not understanding. A re-release to theatres? Why?
I'm completely down for an entire reboot. Transformers deserved better.

None of the above.

Don't put words in my mouth, I never said they were good movies, I would just like to watch it in theatres.

And then we have the bay movies, where we have such amazing writing as “stop lubricating on the man”, “deep wang”, “we are directly under the enemy scrotum”, “no woopy MR Cade”, “I ate the whole plate”, “my face is my warrant”, “I like to stay fresh when I’m making out with your daughter”. with 30 different relics that mysteriously are forgotten about in every movie, history changing every movie, and everyone in the movie being hostile to each other and just being loud, they aren’t likable to any extent. Then you have the critic and general audience reactions to the movies which have proven that the dark knight trilogy just is better written and done. I live transformers, and I grew up watching these films, but I am not delusional enough to somehow think they are good movies.

I wasn't referring to the science – I was referring to the plot, which didn't make sense. Even complimentary reviews of it stated they had no idea what the hell was going on. Plenty of other films root themselves in science and have an easy-to-read plot.
Except for the Dark Knight, those movies suck; which is presumably based on the fact that, when Christopher Nolan arrived on set, the screenwriter had to explain everything to him because he'd never read the comics.

Some questionable cinema taste in this thread. Whoof.
Hope Interstellar wins. That's a movie that deserves a big screen reissue, hopefully in IMAX.
Maximus Danz
Yes, only the best trilogy, Batman Begins is janky as fuck in the story department and The Dark Knight Rises has as well as Swiss Cheese on a radiator. That is Only the direction and writing, acting is a WHOLE other problem.

The entire movie was based around science. Interstellar put significantly more thought into itself than the TF movies ever did, I mean they freaking predicted exactly what a black hole looks like using an equation from scientists, which was proven correct a couple months back with the first ever image of a black hole. Interstellar simply requires you to actually pay attention to the movie and what they say, while bay’s films require us to turn our brains off and eat popcorn. Christopher Nolan even made the best Batman trilogy to exist, which again, they weren’t just a CGI crap fest of things smashing Into each other with 200 sex and racist jokes.
But clearly bumblebee pissing on a human was the peak of human intelligence.

Why the hell not?
After all, TF2007 was actually better than Interstellar – because I knew what the hell was going on it. I left Interstellar absolutely confused as to what the bloody hell was going on.
It would also be nice to prove what I have been saying for years – Christopher Nolan is, in fact, a hack with delusions of grandeur.
