Takara Tomy Mall Website have uploaded listings and images of their new exclusive Transformers figures: Transformers Cyberverse Action Masters Wave 2.
While the name of this line may remind you of the non-transformable G1 Action Masters toys, it’s just the name chosen by Takara Tomy in order to release the Cyberverse Deluxe Build-A-Figure line in Japan. Wave 2 consists of Action Master 04 Bumblebee, Action Master 05 Grimlock and Action Master 06 Hot Rod. They show no discernible differences compared to their Hasbro counterparts. These figures are scheduled for release in late October 2020 for 2750 Yen ($25.61 approximately). The pre-order period will last only from May 15th to June 22th.
You can check out images and information of Wave 1 here. Click on the bar to check the mirrored images on this news post and let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

Translation on the bonus part
As for the parts attached to the bonus, by purchasing all 8 action master items, you can complete the action figure of "Macadam" that appeared in the animation.

Forget coronavirus…..that red spoiler is the bigger disappointment.
I guess I can paint it, but yellow is such a difficult paint color to use.

The first wave of Deluxes is pretty good. Wave 2 suffered in the paint department.
BombSquad
Well, the BAF budget has to come from somewhere…
Starscream Gaga
In all honesty, the kibble doesn't bother me too much… but the paint is inexcusable. It's a shame because the Cyberverse toyline has been really bad and I was kind of hoping that at least the Deluxes would give good versions of some of the characters but… yikes.
Liege Prime
I'm not obsessed with my figures being painted perfectly, but Hot Rod screams cost cutting. Both with paint and that insane kibble on his arms that somehow people defend. I have all the Cyberverse deluxes so far, and Hasbro clearly sees Hot Rod as the red-headed step child.
Starscream Gaga
Jeepers. That Hotrod's lack of paint is truly shocking. I can't believe they even left the spoiler red.
Lord Dcast
Damn, that's a shame. I know I don't live over there, so I don't have any stake in this, but it sucks that the Japanese have to put up with this being an online exclusive. They're really too good to deserve such a thing.

Japanese Action Masters are not the same as Hasbro Action Masters Its jus a name reuse for an unrelated line.
BB Shockwave
Yeah, I am guessing they broke them up to 3 waves wit 3 figures in each (and I guess last one will be Arcee and Thunderhowl)
SoundwaveSuperior
The order that Takara releases figures in doesn't exactly match Hasbro's.

Wave 2? But Bee was in Wave 1, he is out even here in Hungary, I have him… Hot Rod's weird half-red tires bother me somehow, but I guess it is for screen accuracy. Grimmy is great, love that crown. During the show I even learned to like him having a face in robot mode, given his personality changes in robot and beast modes.
Not really. Back when AMs were made, they could not produce toys that had proper ball jointed legs and that much articulation AND also transform. We had to wait like, 4-5 years for that with the Laser Rods and Cyberjets.
I'd frankly hope future AM hommages are like Krok or the Animated Jackpot was, since even as a kid I looked at these AM toys (I had Jackpot and Mainframe) and could guess what they turned into before they got the Nucleon process. Well, except Banzai-Tron. No idea what he could have turned into…

Isn't making transforming Action Master figures missing the point of Action Masters?

Next wave of Action Masters is up and features Bumblebee, Hot Rod, and Grimlock.

I also picked up spark armor Cheetor and Skybyte, Hammerbyte, and the Warrior Starscream that looks like the ship from Gradius, and love them.
Liege Prime
Despite my issues with Grimlock, mostly in leg tolerances, he's actually the best Grimlock from Hasbro besides MP. I wasn't a fan of POTP Grimlock, and this deluxe still has better articulation.
