Courtesy of Dengeki Hobby web we can share for you new stock image of Takara Tomy Movie Masterpiece MPM-10 Starscream for your viewing pleasure.
This figure is based in Starscream’s design and deco from the Transformers 2007 live-action movie. The Raptor F-22 alt mode looks amazing and detailed. We have some extra shots that let us see how the robot parts are aligned under the jet mode. Additionally, new extra shots of the back of the robot mode are included.
While MPM-10 Starscream will be sold as a Target exclusive in the US market, he will sold as a regular retail item in Japan for 20000 Yen ($186.74 approximately) and expected for release by late October 2020.
We are sure live-action movie fans will be pleased with all the movable parts and articulation of this new mold. Click on the bar to see the mirrored images after the jump. Join to the ongoing discussion on the 2005 Boards!

Takara did make an MPM ROTF Starscream but i thought he had a silver saw, not translucent orange.

Who makes the "Alien tattoo: version you have there. Is that mpm too? Or a third party take?View attachment 30133736

Damn you know those transformations that are so satisfying you gotta do it twice?
This is one of those. Such a stimulation.

Tysm bro, I’ll have to try it once I’m back home on break

Thats for the KO. The only issue that I recall on the official is that some joints, particularly the shoulder joints, might be a tad loose.

I just unpacked mine. I was planning to skip this guy but Amazon offered one at a nice price.
Are there any common problems I should be aware of with this guy? I've read something about shaving off the feet to prevent breakage, or is that for the KO only?

Buy yourself a spring-loaded center punch and a smallish pair of diagonal cutters, you can find them at hardware stores or on Amazon.

Determine which side of the pin has the knurled tip. You should be able to tell by looking at the ends- the knurled end is usually even with the plastic part it's driven into, and you can usually see the rough pattern of the knurls. The knurled end gets pushed in last at the factory, so you want to use your punch on the opposite end to push the knurled end out first. Give the pin a few hits with your punch until you see the tip start to come out. If that end is smooth, then you're pushing the pin in the wrong direction.
Once you've punched out a bit of the knurled end, grab it firmly with your diagonal cutters, as if you were going to cut that tip off. Gently pry the pin out by leveraging the cutters against the plastic around the pin. Once it moves, repeat until you can pull it all the way out.
I usually use a pair if slip-joint pliers to squeeze the pin back in, but you can probably push it in and tap it all the way with some other tool.
Hope this helps, sorry it's so long.

Does anyone have any tips for knocking out the pins in his ankles to fix the mismatched circle bits? Tried it a couple days ago but couldn’t get them to budge

So I just noticed that my MPM Starscream has two of the same forearm. Would anyone be willing to sell me the correct left forearm piece? Maybe someone who installed the DNA upgrade kit and has no intention of putting the stock arms back on? I only need the front half of the forearm, the back halves are correct. Thanks in advance!
Edit: got one!
Slyf5
bumping the thread because I wonder if someone could remove the pin on his elbow and show the pieces of the elbow joint, I need to repair mine and I need to know which pieces are inside there to replicate/replace
Onilink
Lol, really can't

Well for 64 bucks you can’t complain

Plastic, rubber, paint and joints a bit loose. The engineering is as always on top quality of course, i was talking about materials and feeling. But you're right, it's one of the best mpm (i'm missing Ratchet and BB OP).

Just curious, why do you feel this is chug quality? (I feel it is one of the better quality figures in the MPM line, and much better than a chug figure by most measures)
Onilink
Arrived today. For 64 bucks can't really complain, but it is a shame that he took the chug quality route, and not the classic MP one.

Despite SS Starscream looking amazing, he lacks ankle tilts and could never pull this off as well. Yeah this pose is incredibly “plain”, but just feels good when a guy that looks like that can stand well.

That’s the problem with the addiction, you’re never satisfied. And when you want more you CAN’T have more.
Shmoptimus Prime
I wish I had the space to keep both. Hell if I had the space and money I'd have the OSKO too!
VVa
Unfortunate. But at least the Tattoo KO is awesome. Though I don't find myself messing around with it as much as the official.
And yes I did forget how to do it. . .
