Third party company Newage Toys have shared the final product images of their XM1 Mista Masterpiece Scaled Dark Of The Moon Soundwave.
We have a closer look of this impressive take on Dark Of The Moon Soundwave in scale which Masterpiece Movie figures. The robot and alt mode look very detailed and movie-accurate. As you should expect, a DOTM Laserbeak figure is included, but this release will also include ROTF Ravage as a nice extra bonus. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG alt mode is pretty solid and compact and can open the lateral doors.
This is indeed a great alternative for movie collectors over the previous official releases, and the TungMung-EX TMT-01 DOTM Soundwave which is on the works too.

Looks lilke the side of the robot head but it's slightly different to original. Is yours one of the KOs?
Sanity Bleeds
I think that might be the side of his robot head?

anyone knows where this part comes from? transformed mine to a car (it's how I display them) and found this guy only after transformation. Just want to note so whenever I transform them to bot mode I'd know where to place it
hthrun
He's one of my favorites. If I pull him down an l and transform him, I still need to use the instructions for his legs. I'd say they're pretty easy, though involved, with the instructions.
VVa
Yeah it's an interesting one to be sure.
And the legs aren't that bad, you just gotta memorize how they work.
octobotimus
Ah alright. So it shouldn’t scare you away from transforming him again then? I’ve just been considering getting him and want a figure that’s not bad to transform back and forth when I want to.
Yeah most consistent thing I seem to hear is that the legs aren’t great.
ghostyurei
I always get to the legs and get frustrated and scream at the figure, “WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?!”
Then I remember how it goes and I love it again.

It's one you're gonna take your time on the first time handling it. Nothing annoying and clearances are good enough ! But once you get the hang of it, you'll appreciate its engineering.
octobotimus
Would you say the transformation is fun-ish or at least intuitive?
VVa
Transformation is brilliant and the paint's quite durable.
octobotimus
How’s the transformation on this guy btw? And is the paint durable?
Mykltron
Am I missing something about the lower leg transformation? Is there a way to stop the pin joint below the knee from tilting? It's really annoying.

Selling this figure if anyone's interested, PM me with an offer.

Yup. I guess this mold had been ko-ed too many times that no one bothers making a thread for this
Mechman42
I don’t care about Bayverse, but I love Soundwave and I love Newage… plus $100 isn’t too bad for an MPM…
Phase Sixer
Goddamn, I don’t even care about Bayverse designs but this figure looks so good I almost want one.
Snake_eyes1975
I love this one as well, just never figured out how to fully tab in the feet/legs. Always ends up mushy.
VelsR
Is this new?
frdx
how does it look like in robot mode?
Vale
Can’t believe I haven’t taken any photos of this beautiful piece so decided to do him justice
