A mini-news item for you here. Hasbro have updated their Transformers Facebook page with the Transformers Earthrise galaxy map “so far”.
Big deal, right? The map doesn’t show the planets or any of the other juicy details you get from looking at the map segments using the decoder included with the toys. However, if you look at the bottom right, you can see “Map Wave 1” with the numbers 2, 3 and 4 next to it.
This seems to suggest that Earthrise will only consist of four waves of toys, versus the five we saw for Transformers Siege.
You can also see the planned full size of the map so far – which some enterprising fans are already analysing to work out how many hexagons are present, and using the formula of “hexagons per size class” attempt to work out how many more toys we’ve yet to see.
(For those wondering – once we account for the known Wave 2 and 3 toys, we’ve got another 29 1/3 hexagons relating to future toys. This doesn’t count guys like Scorponok, Sky Lynx, or exclusives – we don’t know how big their map pieces will be).

Just bought two of these for my kids to use as sort of night lights. And wow, are these awesome, I love sitting in their rooms with them looking up at the ceiling. Its very very cool. Wish I had one when I was a kid, be so cool to play with my transformers blasting through space and epic space battles LOL
But now my boy and I keep wishing Hasbro would make a slide to insert into these, that feature, Cybertron Unicron, ect in space. Would be so cool. They have the map already from this, that they could make .

How long have we known that the Earthrise update for the TF website was finally up and running in time for Kingdom?

It does make me wonder if the Scorponok reissue will have his unique (Predacon?) badge instead of the 'con one?
Sadly there does not seem to be a nicely-collated & corrected Map up on that section that I can find though?
BOO-URNS, Hasbro!

You're not missing much. I got the G2 one and was board with it pretty fast. After three siege Megatron toys I already knew what was up.

It's interesting to note the changes between that "concept map" and the finished map used by the Earthrise toys and Galactic Odyssey.
What jumps out at me is that they switched the positions of the ringed planet and the ruined space station, and extended some energy tendrils from the Dead Universe portal to the station.
-ZacWilliam, I expect that ringed world mislabeled on its map piece was meant to be Nebulos, as it matches the traditional appearance.

Have you got a direct link to the source of this you could drop, please?

My Arcee and Smokescreen came with the same Junkion map piece.
Actually, looking at them side by side once more, they're both Junkion but they're different.
