New Mysterious Walmart Listings for “Generations G1 Red” Figures

under Non-Transforming, Transformers R.E.D.

Thanks to the great detective work of our very own Jtprime17 we can share for you some new mysterious Walmart listings for “Generations G1 Red” figures.

These listings can only be viewed via the mobile app at the moment, and there’s still not much information about what they really are, so take this with a grain of salt until we get an official confirmation. You can read on for the EAN code of each listing:

  • Tra Gen G1 Red Megatron
    EAN: 5010993729029

Now it’s time to place your bets. What does “red” refer to? A color? Redeco? maybe another reissue? Is it possible for a G1 Megatron gun to come back to shelves in the US? I honestly think it would have been an okay figure if it had been made as the Ultra class it was designed for. As is, it's just too small and fiddly. But honestly, so are other figures from 2009-2010, like the Universe Perceptor, which I think is equally a mess.

US federal law states a "blaze orange tip" not a plug. However many US states have added to this regulation and IF Hasbro did release a G1 Megatron he would need to be orange and sky blue or neon green. And at one point that was the plan.

That’s actually a fallacy, the “proposed” energon megatron from botcon was Pete Sinclair throwing out a what if well after funpub lost the license in an attempt to drum up interest for Pete’s robocon. It was never an actual botcon proposal despite what he might say

Siege Starscream in SG colors would be great!
Now that there’s a digibash, now I want SG Megatron out of Super Megatron.

Honestly I'd like a SG and Energon Megatron from the TR Galvatron mold. Maybe new shoulders with the cannons.

SG Soundwave and Megatron to go with a SG Prime and a Cliffjumper repaint done up like the Classics figure.

Oh, and maybe a SG Sideswipe so the Gridman Alliance will be represented?

And a SG Starscream to further round it out.

I was thinking this too … yellow eyes, red inner legs and arms, and tampos that resemble the g1 stickers…

I'm trying to think how Soundwave would be changed though? Seige SW looks alot like G1 toy already … unless they package him with Buzzsaw?

Clean with no battle damage?
