Looks like the question has been answered so with that, we're going to close this one down. Thanks for playing "Is MakeToys over?"
Join us next week for our new show, "Is this rash I'm getting from my latest toy or is it just stress because my family is making me crazy at home?"

Thanks for the clarification! He looks amazing from what I've seen, and I wish I could display one side by side with my Supreme Class one haha. Shame there isn't a crown to go with it..

Yes, it's pretty to very good. Great to pose and fun to transform. Some people disliked the hand articulation, but that's opinion.
The only issue was, as @mikeszekely pointed out, the hip joint. When I got mine I though the hips were a combination of a ratchet and a friction joint and since the latter made a squeeking noise, I took them apart to lube. To my surprise, they were ratchets in both direction. After lubing them up they work perfectly. But if you don't lube them…they will most likely break.

Still want one yes but I'm unsure if I can afford one at the moment. Summer classes and whatnot
I'm also unsure as to what was wrong about it, just that most of the comments about it in this thread say it (or maybe their marketing?) wasn't good. Could just be that it isn't G1 and that's a BIG nono because G1 is the be all end all to some here. Idk

This is all I need

Not good how? I think most of the reviews were pretty positive, but a couple went out with defective ratchets in the hips. I had to send my copy back for a replacement, but I didn't have issues with the replacement.
Did you still want one? Where are you at? My display is getting crowded, and I'm thinking about selling Galaxy Meteor.

Can this thread be over yet?

This is what Downbeat looks like with his wings… not sure about FT's version but it doesn't look like it? I could be wrong..

the possibility of them being released is good enough for me. Just hearing maketoys saying they still exist and are working on all announced projects makes me happy after the 1 and 1/2 year long silence(could be shorter or longer, I really don't remember how long it has been)
Wallas
That Downbeat looks interesting. Makes me wonder how this 1.5 version will stack up against Fans Toys offering, admittedly I want to have an MP Jazz of some kind sooner or later and this might be a good time to finally be over with it. I kind of hinge my decision on whether FT will have winged robot mode or not, I really like that look on Jazz.

Rumors of their demise have been greatly exaggerated!
DrCalligari
I have no idea. I don't know anything about the fiction of that design, I just thought it was cool.
Kaynowa
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Starscream was his regular form with two swords, and not the giant one with the crown and gun, correct?
DrCalligari
I had that Starscream, I thought it was a great release! Fun to transform and mess with.
Kaynowa
I just want ONE Cybertron MP to not flop. I loved how Galaxy Meteor looked (never got ahold of it sadly. No means of doing so) but apparently it wasn't good? They only had sketches of their leaders. Transform N Rollout has gone radio silent on their Cybertron Prime, and Cold Constructs is struggling.

I’d basically forgotten those reveals. Now that you mention it, the possibility of their Galaxy Prime and Megatron are the most interesting to me. Though, even if they’re able to ramp back up as they expect, it appears those possibilities are a LONG way off.
Chainlink
Good on ya, Maketoys for putting the rumors to rest. Can't wait to see the continuation of Cross Dimension!
