Entertainment One’s subsidiary eOne Music is in talks to produce music for Hasbro based properties as a part of their new venture.
Speaking to the Billboard magazine, eOne Music’s Global President Chris Taylor stated that a group of eOne executives met with Hasbro management and presented a portfolio of music assets, from music supervision and soundtrack production to synch licensing and a production music library.
“It’s our job to familiarize ourselves with Hasbro’s brands, starting with Dungeons & Dragons to Magic: The Gathering to Transformers to Monopoly — what a job!”
Billboard asked “At this point, has eOne been tapped for any of Hasbro’s movie franchises, like Transformers or G.I. Joe?” and Mr. Taylor answered “We’re in discussions across the board with respect to music needs.”, but confirmed that the company is already working on song and composer ideas for the feature-length CGI-animated My Little Pony movie (2021) and has spoken to Wizards of the Coast Dungeons & Dragons team about their music needs for trailers and commercials, in addition to assisting Hasbro’s own commercial department (Cakemix Studio) to produce music for 150 commercials they put out each year.

I hope e1 does good for Power Rangers as well, since the music and sounds of Neo-Saban is getting tiresome.

Curious to see what they have in store.
Would be sick if the next Transformers movie has a headbanging soundtrack akin to the 86 Movie in terms of awesome tunes.

So what will that mean for Steve Jablonsky if he ever returns?

Kinda curious to see what comes of this, even though I'm not exactly expecting anything groundbreaking.
