Australia had to wait until the first week of March for the Earthrise toys to be released all at once by Hasbro, and with us just being one week out, the toys are now being sent out to Retailers, as we have several sightings in the last 24 hours of all but the Deluxe size (which are said to be arriving within the week).
These first outlets are independent toy stores, as the national retailers can take a little longer to distribute their stock around the country, so for now, these are only available to certain areas of the country.
The first reported sighting on the Ozformers board was yesterday by member Sutton, of all but Deluxes at Uncle Pete's toys (New South Wales) who had them listed on their store's website as being available.
The next two reported sightings were also yesterday, at two different Toyworld stores in Melbourne (Greensborough first on the Ozformers facebook page by Aiden Marshall, then Weribee Plaza on the Ozformers messageboard by member hypnos).
Then today we had another sighting from a third state, with another Toyworld store in North Queensland… with several photos posted on TFW in the Australian Sightings topic at post #2035. (check that link out for the clearest photos – the two included in this post were posted on facebook by Aiden Marshall)
Prices aren't too bad either so far, with the smaller sizes being comparable to Siege prices, while the Leader class is actually cheaper at these first locations, being AU$75-80 compared to Siege Leaders being AU$90-100.
