Transformers Cyberverse Story Editor Randolph Heard started an interesting discussion on his Twitter feed, inviting other members of the creative team including Zac Atkinson, Mae Catt, Gavin Hignight and Dan Salgarolo to contribute their “Ideas We Didn’t Do” that ultimately missed the cut for reasons ranging from budgeting to character count limitations.
Among the highlights:
- A whole planet full of Cheetors
- Everything on Cybertron having the ability to transform: buildings, household objects, etc.
- Bumblebee rebooting the Ark and saving everybody at the end of Season 1, but in the process that would have wiped out all his memories of S1
- A blue Grimlock being one of the captains we see in multiverse
- A scene in Maccadam’s Old Oil House with Jazz playing a Cyber-bass
Stay tuned to these pages for the latest Cyberverse news as we get set for the 2020 edition of Toy Fair New York and in the meantime chat away on the 2005 boards about what ideas you would have included in the first two seasons!

\'A planet full of Cheetors\' probably would have been less like \'Cheetor Clone Planet\' and more along the lines of \'Cheetor discovers that he\'s part of a species similar to the sharkticons except they\'re robot cheetahs or something\'.
Odd that blue Grimlock was cut given how there\'s been at least one generic with his body type in the show already.

Man, really reaching for the stars here with these ideas…
MrNiceGuy
A planet of cheetors. What the hell.
And Jazz gets shafted again, no surprise there.
BigRed
It is the last season. Already saw people that worked on it referring to it as 'our last season' on Facebook,
WishfulThinking
It was the finale for Season 2. Not nearly as awesome as it sounds because:
1. It's mostly just the same crew encountering themselves over and over again, with the only difference sometimes being who is in the captain's chair.
2. The rules for how the nexus point works was changed just a few minutes later in the same episode with no explanation at all.
In the end, it was less a love letter to the Transformers multiverse and more of a love letter to a certain Star trek TNG episode.
Crystal Convoy
I would've like to have seen everything on Cybertron transform if only for the chance that we might have gotten some very interesting toys. Everything else doesn't seem very interesting, although none of it is really "oh that sucks they didn't do it."
Paladin
just about every other TF show has only lasted three seasons. Think the only exception is "Rescue Bots."
Gobstop123
They should\'nt have cancelled Jazz.. Also,a planet full of Cheetors seems to be a little exagerated.
KickCounterkick
Jazz playing a Cyber-Bass is the best thing I've ever heard. I wish they would've kept it.
Pravus Prime
Episode, only in one episode, The Crossroads. Episode 36 all together or Season 2, Episode 18.
NOCV
= don't know or can't divulge.
Rodimus Primal
I asked this:
Any chance there would have been a Rodimus Prime as one of the leaders in the multiverse? Maybe we will see Botanica in the future? Also, seeing Sideswipe and Sunstreaker would be awesome. So would Skywarp and the cassettes.
His response:
Definitely to the first question. And can't answer the others.
DecepticusPrime
What episodes did they deal with multiverse? I might check those out
Requiem Prime
I don't see a planet of Cheetors working, and I'm glad we moved on from it being Bumblebee's show. The rest is great. I wish they went a lot more crazy with the multiverse options.
Mattymo
more like “here’s ideas we scrapped for one reason or another”
T-Hybrid
I, for one, am devastated Injector never made it into the show. Such an ugly bot but such a great concept and would have been a hell of a toy.
Maximus Danz
I wish we got the Jazz reference the most, by all indications (those being his one step and box art) it looked like jazz would have been based heavily on his POTP toy. The other one we could have used is the bumblebee not remembering season one, but this appears to be a wholly abandoned concept.
ziltama
Nervous Bot should have been Wheeljack. That would've made him much more interesting.
IgnikaMarcus
What gives you that impression?
PrimalFury
What they should have done is have 1 of the arks carrying the cast of the original G1 series
