Via an Entertainment Earth listing we can share for your our first look at the Transformers Cyberverse Build-A-Figure Deluxe Hot Rod.
The new Cyberverse Build-A-Figure line brings us improved and more articulated 5-inch figures that include parts to complete a non-transforming Maccadam figure. Hot Rod includes Maccadam’s right leg as well as two flame effects. He is scheduled for release on June, 2020 and you can already pre-order it for $19.90.

I'm questioning if the figure in the package isn't an unpainted prototype, because all the parts I can see look as if they're unpainted plastic with the only other colors coming from decals on his chest and legs. I'm going to reserve judgement until I see reviews of the final product come in.
Chaos Muffin
An orange paintpen will fix him , since the hard to do flamey bits are already there.

I was leaning more towards Devil Trigger:
"All of these thoughts runnin' through my head
Arms on fire, veins burnin' red…"
Liege Prime
That art is 10 times less ridiculous looking than the toy.
In my not humble opinion.
Scarlet knight
I'm assuming that's a song
T-Hybrid
♫ Arrms on fire, strooong desirrrre. Raaages deep within! ♫
Scarlet knight
But we want him to set his arms on fire
Beowulfx
Egads!
T-Hybrid
Which makes sense since the show and toys portray them as flame throwers. So they extend past his hands so he isn't setting his arms on fire every time he uses them.
Hanzkaz
I'm kind of trying to think of them as guns.
So far, Bumblebee and Hot Rod, and possibly Arcee are the only ones in this line I'm considering getting. Optimus, Megatron, Grimlock and Shockwave should be bigger (imo), so I'll probably pass on them..
PositivelyKen
Just think of those pipes like Wolverine's claws.

Can't talk, configuring death star.

He looks great…now we have another Hotrod to attack right @WEEGEE @iacon45 @Autobot1000?

These new Cyberverse figures have a much improved aesthetic. I still have zero interest, but good for the people who like the show to finally not be stuck with sub-par toys.

Everyone is talking about the long pipes which don't really bother me. I'm looking at his legs and wandering why they didn't finish painting them. You can clearly see where they started to paint the upper legs orange and then the orange just stops abruptly but there's still more leg. It kinda looks like most of the figure was molded in red and they just lazily painted some parts orange.
Anyway… lazy paint job aside… these figures actually look GOOD, I'm regretting that I already got the Spark Armor versions of Optimus and Megatron… more so the Megatron. I mean Optimus is OK and this version isn't that much better but Megatron with a tank mode that actually looks like a tank instead of a robot doing a yoga pose! Yes please!
Plus I'm kinda interested in this build a figure. It says non transforming so I'm not expecting much but considering he does have what looks like vehicle mode kibble I'm going to figure out some way to fan mode a vehicle mode out of that guy!
I want to wait and see all the figures in the line up first before I commit to collecting them but so far I really like what I'm seeing. What's also weird… I'm not really a fan of effects parts in general but these actually look good. I especially like the flames that come with Hot Rod. These look better than the Siege effects parts in my opinion. That's saying a lot considering I don't even like effect parts but I actually do like some of these. The only one I've seen so far that I'll probably never use is the Matrix blast thing that comes with Optimus.
Afterburner
He looks like the weakest of the bunch so far which is a shame, because Hot Rod has a great character design. Hasbro never quite seems to be able to do his figures justice.
Laser_Optimus
I was looking at the arm pipes on Hot Rod again and comparing it to the control art for the animation model and those extended curvy pipes are accurate to the control art. They seem to vary a bit in the show though. Sometimes they're like the control art and as we see on the toy and other times they're closer to the G1 design.
Liege Prime
Well you don't have to be TOO excited about smashing my hopes for a decent Hot Rod figure.
Mugenlazlo
Didn\'t Bandai America do something like this for Power Rangers?

I want to see Deluxe Thunderhowl.
