Via Sideshow Collectibles website we can share for you the complete official gallery and product description of the Pop Culture Shock Museum Scale Optimus Prime Statue.
This “museum scale” statue measures more than 25″ which is bigger than the previous 10-12″ Classic Series Optimus Prime statue. We have an amazing and beautiful rendition of the heroic Autobot leader in cell-shading deco that makes him look as he has just popped out from the cartoon. You can read the full product description and details of the regular and exclusive version below:
The Optimus Prime G1 Museum Scale Statue measures 28” tall standing boldly on top of a orange Cybertronian environmental base complete with the Autobot logo. A fearless leader, Optimus Prime is ready to roll out with his allies, wielding his iconic ion blaster and pointing the way forward against the onslaught of evil Decepticons.
Optimus Prime features a cel-shaded deco application that captures the iconic animated appearance of the Generation 1 Transformers. The Optimus Prime G1 Museum Scale Statue is detailed with red, blue, and grey tones with yellow accents to evoke the classic two-dimensional art style in a three-dimensional form.
The Exclusive Edition of the Optimus Prime G1 Museum Scale Statue includes an alternate right arm featuring the Autobot’s orange Energon axe, so you can upgrade your display and fight back against the Decepticons. The statue measures 22.5” tall while the axe arm is attached.
Pre-orders will begin on Thursday, February 13th between 12pm-3pm PST. Both the Exclusive and Collector’s Edition of the statue will be priced at $800 USD.

I'm not a fan at all of the cell shading fad. Both of these would be great if not for that. Price is a bit high though for something like this. I'd guess more like $600-650.

Funny you guys are complaining about this figure's proportions when most of y'all were fine with MP-10's proportions.

With MP 44 though you can get Opt to do "all" the iconic poses.

The problem is it's a BAD, "loosely drawn animation cell". I mean this is up there with the worst of the AKOM animation errors. Weirdly, teeny, tiny chest windows; odd, rubbery bent limbs; big fat, full nappy.
I'm a big fan of the toon accurate look, but this is the toon error look.

I don’t know what pretend life you think the dictionary documents that doesn’t line up with your individual familiarity, but whatever. Sure man. Nothing exists until you personally learn about it, and your local culture is the only valid one. All other vernaculars are fake. I wish me and Andy Warhol lived in 1990s Miami where they decided what all the real words are instead of wherever we got our gibberish.

I get what youre saying, but youre talking dictionary terms. Im talking more about how the term was used in real life, particularly in the 1990's and 2000's. Here in Miami, in a very multicultural environment, "pop" was generally viewed as a type of music. The term "Pop culture" was usually associated with anything that was an offshoot of pop music or its fandom. Or to be more blunt, pop culture was basically the opposite of urban culture to Generation X. It wasnt until milenials grew up that the term pop culture started being associated with hobbies, video games, cartoon characters, fast food chains, and anything else they could "like" on social media. All Im saying is times changed.

If your going to get a g1 prime just get mp-44. $800 for a statue that\'s oddly proportioned is not worth it in my book.

According to Wikipedia, the shortening of "popular" to "pop" happened around the 1950s, and "popular culture" goes back more than a hundred years before that, but it's just the concept of what books/music/movies/tv are popular or were popular. MTV and "boy bands" were never more than a fraction of that whole monster.

Wow guys, another G1 Optimus statue! We’ve never gotten something like this before!

The proportions look GREAT from the neck up.

I first read this as 25' (feet) and like, yeah, I can see why this is "museum" scale being close to real size.
Then saw the extra ' and realize it's 25". So disappointed.
