I really agree with Bleszinki, on the fact that combiners should be brothers or sisters in arms
I see it a bit less romantically.
It's more like a family relationship… often a dysfunctional one. Mabe in-laws even, since combiner teams are often placed together, not "born" together.
You may hate them, but they're still family and you're stuck with them.
I get what he was going for with the sibling relationship among combiners, I do. But to state that their are no "brothers and sisters" on cybertron is untrue.
We've had many cases of sibling transformers, and most have been explained, in universe, on how they came about and what makes them siblings, such as split sparks.
Actually now that I think about it, have split sparks or siblings shown up as a concept in the new continuity yet?

Tomorrow. Find cover because he rises at a comic book shop near you. Transformers Galaxies: Constructicons Rising Issue Four will be yours. #comics#Transformers#morethanmeetstheeye
My feeling about Ramondelli has always been that he's rather weak on the draftsmanship, but he carries it off with large helpings of post-processed style and atmosphere. It means his work can be very cool at times, but not versatile. He's sort of stuck in one mode, because his foundation skillset isn't strong enough to grow beyond it (or rather, it doesn't feel like his work has changed or improved very much).
And I'm fine with that. More power to him. Give him the stories his style is suited to. I won't begrudge the guy for making a living on his art. What he lacks in fundamentals, he makes up for with mood and vision (although some may joke that he makes up for it with a LACK of vision )
As for Devastator's rifle… "His solar energy rifle shoots a 10,000 degree centigrade heat beam a distance of six miles."
That's like… twice as hot as the surface of the sun? Sounds like a good thing to have in your arsenal. Saves time walking six miles just to smash something.
. But he seriously goes and tries to compare his art to that of Watchman now? LOL.
Respectfully (and as someone who traditionally hasn't been a fan of Livio) I think this is a misread…he said he was attempting to homage a concept he saw in Watchmen vs. comparing his work to Watchmen itself.
I enjoy the Constructicon story. Even Livio's art improved, for example he sometimes draws straight lines and started using normal perspectives instead of faraaway shots. He evem got better with static faces, but expressions are still something he needs to practice. But he seriously goes and tries to compare his art to that of Watchman now? LOL. I never noticed the incomplete Autobot symbols because the backgrpunds are still muddied water paintings where it is hard to make out anything due to all the black shadows and dark washes.

You’re right, the Primacy, Autocracy, and Monstrosity arc was phenomenal!
Reminder: February 19th is the end of the Transformers Galaxies: Constructicons Rising arc. Go today & ask your local comic book shop to make sure and get a copy. It's been selling out!! Devastator is watching you to make sure you do this. @LivioRamondelli @IDWPublishing
Out of complete curiosity, has Devastator ever used his gun to shoot anything at ALL in any medium? All I ever recall is him screaming and bum rushing stuff, or bashing things with his fists and/or whatever happens to be lying around.
Seems like giving him a big honking rifle is a total waste of resources anyways, as I'd give him a coin flip as to whether he'd shoot himself with it or just use it as a club.
He used it atleast during his first fight against the dinobot and the combaticons in the cartoon, aside from that he have eye and finger laser, he is able to burrow his hand underground and dig up to attack enemy from below
For melee, his toy and devestation counter part uses a pair of drill from bone crusher and scavenger
Thanks to Angel, people now choose to enjoy Livio's art.
Nah, Ramondelli's art is still a dumpster fire. I'd much rather have Hernandez. But why settle? If the books gonna be delayed anyways get some of that quality art from Alex Milne, Hayato Sakamoto, Andrew Griffin, or Sarah Pietre Durocher.
