Via TransFans Facebook we can share for your great in-hand images of the new Flame Toys Kuro Kara Kuri Optimus Prime for your viewing pleasure.
The Kuro Kara Kuri line brings us officially licensed non-transformable action figures with top-quality finishing and material including die-cast. The design is highly stylized, but still recognizable as the heroic Autobot leader. The images let us see the great range of posability, as well as the LED effects. A fine piece of sculpting and engineering. Did we mention he’s got die-cast? We are sure you will be more than impressed with the images.
While based in the G1 character, this mold takes some great homages to other Optimus Prime incarnations like Animated Prime’s rocket axe, Bayverse Prime’s swords, Prima’s Star Saber, and the enormous War For Cybertron battle axe (from the video game, this one exclusive to D4 Toys).
Not much left to say. Click on the bar and enjoy the mirrored images on this news post and share your impressions on the 2005 Boards! This figure is already shipping and you can still order yours via our sponsors links below.
Scyla
I would say too smoothly on my copy. I have most of the other K^3 releases and they have some perfectly toleranced joints. I wouldn’t put the knee joints on my Optimus in that category.
PoweredConvoy
This is something they all have. I don't really consider loose as more they move very smoothly compared to the others.
I have had no problems with any of mine. There are definitely some sharp or thin parts to look out for on each, but Optimus doesn't really have much of that other than his antenna.
Scyla
Mine has loose knee joints.

Maybe double check the switches for the LEDs, as they like, this small plastic notch. On my 3K Prime they're fine, but my 3K Megs came with a stressed one on his shoulders that eventually broke off due to how tight those switches are. I had to use a screw driver to move it towards the "ON" position permanently, and only put in the batteries when I wanted to light it up.
Generally they're well built, but due to the weight the hip joint may feel weaker than you'd like. There's no way Prime/Starsaber could strike a dynamic pose without the stand once they armored up.

I think the problem is moreso that genuine interest in this line is somewhat narrow because of the high buy-in cost.
InvaderZig
Hi guys, seeing as how it’s been months since this release, what known problems have popped up on the toy? Been thinking of getting one
Digger
I’d honestly think its not much of a big minority/majority split if you were to really look at it.
FruitBuyer
Ehhhh, a vocal part but not the majority. Between seibertron, TFW2005 and reddit, I see lots of positive reception to this stuff.
JetfirePrime760
I wouldn’t say that, there are a lot of us who want high end action figures of TF characters. The folks who don’t like them are just very vocal about it.
Aldolotron
It really does seem like the fandom doesn't like non-transforming transformers figures as a whole.
Digger
Certainly some nice photography, the lighting shows up ver well.
Abysswatcherr
Will be greatly appreciated!
Digger
Oh rad I’ll check it later

Instead of posting 20 pics in a row,I did some sort of Slideshow for this figure!
Maybe some people might enjoy this:

Most intriguing.
JetfirePrime760
Not on prime. The lights are in his knees. The piece on the outside of his leg detaches kinda like on Drift. Underneath is a spot to attach something.
Digger
Aren’t those for LED access?
JetfirePrime760
OwO
I just realized the bits on the outside of his legs come off as well revealing a place to plug something in.
Digger
I think they haven’t shown it yet but probably definitely considered and planned it. I’m sure Star Saber has these little secrets as well.
Retroheavy
I just noticed these shoulder bits open on a hinge. I assume it must be for the up coming jet power upgrade kit.
