Via Shockwave Lab Weibo we have images of their next product: SL-66 Upgrade Kit For Siege Micromasters
This is a simple but useful kit. It contains 15 magnetic studs/fillers (10 short, 5 long) to solve the “emptiness” in the chest of Siege Micromasters. Easy to install (just don’t use any metallic tools) and they work pretty well. The fillers have a sculpted line/detail on top, so they are not just plain circles.
We still have no information on price or release date of this upgrade kit, but Shockwave Lab products don’t take much time to be available once they show images.

I bought a set of these as It crossed my mind they sit flat enough that they'd be a good place to mount an autobot logo one and they do seem well suited to that. I've not had chance to test everything yet – but it seems they may have a lot wider use than the intended one. That they are temporary has some use too.
One slight downside though is that they really only fit well on the autobot ground vehicles (out of the places i've tried so far) and they don't fit well on the Jets – they are to tight to fit in them – which seems like an over sight to not make them for the Decepticon jet chests too. But I had a voucher code so got $3.50 off the price so they are worth it to me at least. I will likely be painting some of them though before experimenting with the logos further but it looks like you can get a reasonable effect right out of the box as the black plug is less unsightly than the screw showing is.

This hole in my heart can't be filled by the things that I do
Mistakemus Prime
fully articulated hands when?
Everything Man
need an upgrade that keeps them from falling over
Buzzetta
80's kids fixed this by stuffing each hole with playdoh.
Just sayin'

the thing is, there are a million things they can do and this is just not needed. I'm not going to invidually comment on everyone that said something good in this thread, but Shockwave lab has done stuff which was in the 90s (the Beast Wars accessories). Just knowing that EVERYTHING is on the table for some sort of an upgrade kit, not just the stuff in stores, they should have more than enough fodder to make something that would actually make a toy better.

Yup pretty much. The hole is unsightly I guess but a big black button even more so.

For some ppl, thats true i guess. Others just keep collecting though. In the Seige line, theyre all a part of the same collection, too. I dont think some collectors understand that. I keep seeing ppl complain about "replacing" their Seige Cybertron with Earthrise and its like "dude, NO! " i really dont think some collectors truly understand what theyre collecting…
But anyways, for the ones that plan to I don't know, actually COLLECT these damn things, a 3D printer will help with the holes. Assuming they even care about that and dont want to keep paying $30 for some of these "fillers".

man they are running out of things to upgrade
primalxconvoy
But does Erector screwholes?
Chaos Muffin
Rather have 5mm pegs on the Battlemasters weapons. So many pegholes on the Siege characters yet we cant peg the guns on them or in their hands.
Mattymo
Yeah sure or just be okay with a screw coz you’ll move on to the next toy within a a month or two or even less.
Memph99Q4Ev
Uhhhh, yeah. Okay, gonna say it…
Seige fans, get a 3D printer, art pad, and a free 3D art program. These shits cost bout the same of an actual fig. Yeah, its still low priced, but its gotta be cheaper to just do your own.

Depends on the price. I still wont buy them but price will determine exact level of idiocy on this kit

I bet it's gonna cost some ridiculous price too, like 15 bucks for this junk
ShadowMagnus
This is a cool idea…not necessarily needed, but a nice idea none the less.
That would be great…..those hefty MP Prices and they don't even cover the ugly screw holes…..makes one think a lot of things…
octobotimus
How about we get screw hole covers for MP’s both official and third party? I would actually buy those….
MehWave
Like, I don't wanna hate on anybody's choice of Transformers, but … are we really doing third party upgrades for Micromasters now? Really? I mean, aren't they themselves (or at least those with weapon modes) kits for, like, real figures? Didn't we all get together and mutually agree that we were ok with them being half-crap with almost no articulation and the conspicuous giant screw running them through the guts, because like, they're two inches max? Did I not attend that meeting? Was it not catered?
Driskull98
This is the dumbest shit I've ever seen come from a third party.
