Third Party company Shockwave Lab have uploaded, via their Weibo account, images of their next product: SL-64 Upgrade Kit For Power Of The Primes Orion Pax.
These are leg fillers for the inner Orion Pax robot which is part of the Power Of The Primes Leader Class Evolution Optimus Prime. As usual with Shockwave Lab’s kits, the pieces are easy to install and improve the look of the figure. They have also teased more fillers parts for other figures like Titans Return Hot Rod, Siege Hound and Siege Springer.
We still have no information on price or release date of this upgrade kit, but Shockwave Lab products don’t take much time to be available once they show images.

I don’t fool with that Orion Pax figure but it’s a seriously good figure..this makes it look even better
Counterpunch?
Typically 12-14 shipped. Many times less, but a bit over 10 is a safe bet.

I'm in for these depending on cost.

Nope

My one question, do these parts hinder transformation?
Awkward Kyle
I'd be down for these in black for Nemesis and Unicronus.

I've never bought anything like this. How much do they cost generally? I could see buying sets like this at 5-7$. More than that seems like too much added to a deluxe or voyager cost for me.

I'm surprised at how many people are shitting on a bit of inexpensive customizing for these figures.
I enjoy all these little options, stickers, kits etc. It's a fun way to personalize mainline figures.
Max Tower
Quite a lot of them were recently released including Hot Rod, Cog, Optimal Optimus, Springer, Shockwave, Sideswipe, Autobot & Decepticon Clones, Refraktor, POTP Optimus Prime, & Sixshot (some that obviously do double duty for other things).
I bought all those a little while ago and they arrived just before Christmas. They are Pretty cheap if you buy the complete set.
Everything Man
It\'s like dressing up your dead cat and trying to convince everybody it\'s still alive.

Funny, I bought the POTP set just for the Orion Pax figure so this will be a welcomed addition. Does anyone know when this will go up for preorder and when it will be available?

There has to be a market for these things, and kudos to them for finding that market, catering to it, and making money (which I assume they are doing). While I can see flaws in $20-$50 mainline figures, it is rare that the flaw is big enough for me to need upgrades like this. Hands and feet for the CW figures I understand (though sadly didn't pick up every set). I guess if you are all-in on "classics" figures you may be really excited that a company has the same passion.

TFsafari notes the fillers as unpainted, which is disappointing since SL usually paints their kits.
Lore Keeper
I remember reading somewhere that TR Hot Rod had an unused alternate head molded that resembled his IDW design. I can't find the source anymore, but maybe someone else on here remembers where to find it.
DeGoisis
I think those are unpainted prototypes.
DocSeth81
the fillers stand out more than the gaps. needs to be color matched

A nice option, but the hollow legs have never really bothered me on my Orion figure, especially since I have him combined with his trailer to form Optimus most of the time. But it's an option for those who want it, and as always, options are nice~
