Bad news for Chinese Transformers fans. Tencent Games have just announcemed the closure of their game: Transformers Online.
Transformers Online was a Chinese exclusive Multiplayer online first-person shooter developed by Tencent Games which released in June 23, 2017 featuring characters across multiple Transformers Universes including Michael Bay Movies, Generations and even High Moon Studio’s Fall Of Cybertron. All packed with stunning character design.
This game was exclusive to the Chinese market and never saw a release in the US or any other country. According to the Tencent Games website the game will be completely shut down on February 13, 2020, but it won’t be able to register as a new user starting November 14, 2019.
This is not to be confused with the already cancelled Transformers Online which was developed by NetDragon or Certain Affinity’s Transformers Online which is currently in development.

I am so sorry to revive an old thread… but did anybody ever end up saving the files from the game before it was taken down?

Sucks that this game's shutting down, yet again they should've attempted to expand the game's location support for other countries.
Also it's probably odd to ask this, but has anybody extracted any models/textures from the game yet?

Well I got one much preferred tock than wfc. The campaign was just majestic, much improved level design, fleshed out character numbers, gameplay variation. The best explanation for me for the dinobots alt mode, one of the best origin version to lead up to g1.
Granted I didn't do a lot of co op for woc, but It was repetitive for me a few times. To each their own but I for one was disappointed new moon couldn't do the next one on earth. Maybe they never wanted too

Armada was tough too, I needed chest codes to beat Tidal Wa
I'd argue that Escalation was the best replay factor, it was a shame that FoC couldn't follow through with how great WfC's was.

It’s actually fairly fun to go through random parts of the campaign in FOC. (Helps that you can pick what chapter and also unlock guns in it)

Yes people will always pick up broken and overpowered characters.

That's every game. What's the replayability factor for WFC/FOC? Multiplayer? If so, then there's LESS replayability draw there. Despite the assumption that every multiplayer match should be different because of so many variables, they always wind up the exact same.

I enjoyed Devastation as much as the next guy, but where I felt like it fell apart was in the replayability department. Outside of grabbing every trophy and collectable, nothing really draws you back in, or at least that's how I felt

I said what I said!
(Much love to Blackouts one and all though)

They most likely haven’t gotten enough finished for it. I wouldn’t expect much of anything till E3 if even then.
Porkulus
Speaking of Certain Affinity's game… what's going on there? We haven't heard anything since it was announced, right?
RoboW4rrior298
Yes please Hastak. I want more movie characters in Generations and actually vice versa too!

All good online games close without justification.
An example of NFS World from EA.
P.S In that game, my nickname was RAMJET.

Blackout needs to be in more media. Maybe he'll have a G1 version made now that barricade has come into the G1 scene with his police car look. Imagine a G1 voyager or leader sized helicopter hunch back design for em!

I'll let you eat your words now.
