New company Lemon Tree is sure trying to make a great entrance into the competitive third party market. Following the reveal of their LT-02 Neutronstar (Bumblebee Movie Starscream) now they have shared our fist look at the gray prototype of the upcoming LT-01 Lemon Prime (Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime).
The images, shared via Weibo, show a very nice and detailed rendition of Optimus Prime as seen in the Bumblebee movie. Both modes look really solid and movie-accurate and according to the information shared it will be around more than 15 cm tall.
We still have no concrete information on size or release date, but stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates. Now click on the bar to see the mirrored images and sound off on the 2005 Boards!

Now it's alive again…does anyone have LT Prime and SS Scourge that could show us how they look together please?
Shopping about for a good new-movieverse Prime and seeing that new DNA kit for Scourge, I kinda want him too now!

Their purple potato (Shockwave that transforms into Galvatron's ship, the Revenge) came out two years ago and I don't think they've done anything else since. They had pre-orders for a handful of other Bumblebee movie figures but, with no word for a few years now, I'm not optimistic that they'll ever come out.

Sorry for the necro. Was just revisiting my copy of this figure, I like quite a bit… is Lemontree still around and making the other BBB movie figs? Hope they’re not dead.

No worries! Happy to help. They definitely put the diecast in the wrong places in my opinion

Thanks for the fast reply! So far I’ve gotten all of those you listed. The hips I took care of and the hands are slowly becoming less sticky. Thanks for confirming those though! I thought mine was a fluke. Definitely doesn’t detract from how good this figure is though!
Wh1tebase
I found my copy to be quite loose in the hips and that the boob lights tend to drop out. Also the hands on mine were 'sticky'. Might be different for every copy though! Glad you're enjoying him!

Snagged this guy at TFCon and I’m enjoying him so far!
Are there any big QC things I need to look out for?

Got my lemon tree optimus primes. Awesome figure. Great articulation. Backpack has a hinge so no need parts forming. Yes it's a bit smaller than a standard voyager but I don't mind. Transformation is great. Can the earthrise optimus prime trailer use for this figure? The trailer is kinda a bit small for earthrise optimus prime anyway.
I don't wanna buy this figure before because of the parts forming back but then recently find out that it doesn't have to parts form because the back part has a hinge to transform without doing any parts forming.
I think I will buy this figure. And Yes it's a bit small for chug scale but it has great articulation for a little prime figure. Price is about 66 euros…. I think I'm okay with that
Blazing Mewtwo
I mean I know it’s not an MPM
I just wanted a Prime that scales with them
Shmoptimus Prime
Where did you get the impression that this is an MPM figure? It's meant to scale much closer to studio series.
Blazing Mewtwo
Definitely too small then
Shouldn’t he be a smidge bigger according to this chart?View attachment 29531771View attachment 29531772
Shmoptimus Prime
Dude he's like half the size.
Blazing Mewtwo
How does he scale w/ MPM bayverse Bee
Uniswipe1984
Hasbro, someone made a custom of it, pictured here

Who's the manufacturer of that Bee figure?
Ryogawa
Speaking of scale I was surprised how well this does with the existing SS line. I have it beside my SS ratchet and it fits the scale chart to a T.
Also, Here's a comparison between it and blitzwing. The tip of the ears basically reach up to Blitzwing's shoulders, which is where you want it. In fact, I'd argue that the original SS38 version is a little oversized.
EDIT: Apparently this chart is fan made and differs from the official threezero scale chart where Prime should be about the same height as Blitzwing.
Shmoptimus Prime
That’s a much better price for this figure.
