Following our first world sighting of the new Transformers Cyberverse Deluxe Wave 1 figures in Hong Kong, now via the Hobbymizer Hong Kong Discuss Facebook Group we can share for you an extensive gallery of the four new figures in this wave: Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron and Shockwave.
These new figures prove to be a great improvement in design, transformation and posability over the previous Cyberverse figures. All figures are cartoon-accurate and feature a nice range of articulation (including ankle joints for example) and cool blast effects. Our only complain would be that they don’t seem to be in scale to each other since all are the same size. Talking about scale, we have comparison shots next to some Siege Deluxe and Voyager figures. To top it all, we have a look at all the included parts for the Build-A-Figure Maccadam.
Click on the bar to see all the mirrored images and share your impressions on the 2005 Boards. Remember that these figures have already been spotted in Canada, so they may surface at US retail soon.

Looks like Shockwave is the only one left online for US shoppers (Hasbro shops on Walmart and Google Shopping). There's a new listing on Google Shopping for pre-orders on all 4 from deepdiscount but says pre-order for June (?!).
Pulse doesn't carry Cyberverse. Hasbro's own website doesn't have the deluxe figures.

BB Shockwave
They are up on ebay now at ridiculous 44$ prices

Literally every new release is pricey until they come out in regular stores. You just need to be patient. I assume Hasbro will start to list them on Hasbropulse for a mere 20$ soon, anyway.

Ooh ditto! I still don't have one.

42 hours later, mine was finally delivered. Got Megs, Shockwave, and Bumblebee. I've been ridiculously busy (and that won't end until the second week of January), so I'll keep it brief:
Megatron: Transformation of the year for me. And one of my favorites of the year as a whole package. Love love love the transformation, bot mode doesn't seem to have the loose joints that others talk of (I did nail polish a shoulder just to be safe), and after a few hours I glued his effect pieces together. Transformation, posablity, personality, he's a big win in my book.
Shockwave: I'll be honest, I prefer the Battle Class/Spark Armor version. This feels like a more complicated but less effective version of that. I actually looked up a video review because I was certain there was some trick to lifting the chest over the head that I was missing. The hose was an issue, but after untabbing it on both ends and letting it stretch out, when I put it back it was less twisted to boot and sits a lot better. Even so, it's an okay figure; perhaps in any other year I'd think a lot more of him, but with SIEGE Shockwave, Cyber Battalion Shockwave, we've got some great options as of late.
Bumblebee: Kind of a mixed bag. At least on my copy, his door wings are a pain, both in bot mode and getting them in car mode can require a bit more force then I'd like. The feet are an enormous pain to swing out from car mode back to robot mode, and the lack of any locking in for the shoulders (Black part) is a bit annoying at times. I'm also not a big fan of those front quarter panels on the shoulders look, especially with clearance against the doors, but those car parts have to go somewhere and there's a parts budget. That said, I do like the stinger and the pistol (which looks like the Neutron Assault Rifle from WFC)
A deluxe, blast effects, and parts for a BAF, not bad for $17 I suppose.

Fedex did that same thing to me last week.
My package was an hour away from me for 3 days before getting delivered on the 4th day.

Mine have not arrived. I don't know why, it's spent all day about 4 miles from my house. According to the FedEx tracking data, it arrived there at 8:20 PM Tuesday. Then at 8:20 AM Wednesday it was there and then I just got an update at 8:21 PM tonight that it's there. "IN TRANSIT". Oh boy.
SPLIT LIP
If these weren't so pricey I'd be all over them. Lots of articulation with solid sculpts and simple yet satisfying transformations.

Usually I heat and then pinch together the part where the ball joint snaps into which then gives the ball a tighter hold, but the way Megatron's shoulder is held together, there's no small area to pinch once heated. I may hafta result to the old method of miniscule pieces of paper towel in the joint for the added friction. I know a lot of folks like the method you mentioned, but I just can't bring myself to putting stuff like that on my toys.

drip some superglue into pin joint / clear nail polish or future into the ball socket. it works wonder for me.

Started putting Maccadam together and I'm bummed to see that he's going to be about a head shorter than the other bots. I would've been fine with him being the same size, but I hate when bigger bots in the fiction turn out to be smaller as a toy. I still can't get over the Generations Rhinox/Tankor size differences. The lack of ankle tilt bugs me as well, but at least he'll be articulated everywhere else it's needed.
Right now Shockwave and Prime are my favorites of the bunch, with my only issue for Shockwave being that his hose is too stiff (giggity) and makes posing his arm difficult because it keeps pulling his elbow backwards slightly. A ball jointed neck instead of a swivel would've been nice as well, otherwise he's a great little figure.
Prime is near perfect, with my only gripe about him being that I wish the canisters on his legs folded in, and that I wish he was a tad bigger. I had really hoped that like in Siege/Earthrise, Deluxes in this line would vary in size, but sadly that's not the case. A Siege Ironhide sized Prime, Megs, and Grimlock would've looked great with the standard bots, but I guess I'm just going to hafta get used to Bumblebee being able to look Prime and Megs in the eye.
Bumblebee is nice as well, with one nitpick, and that's his shoulder pauldrons. I wish the backs of them would fold up somewhat to allow for a little more arm movement, because as they are they make posing interesting. You can lift his arms up if you move his door wings before doing so, but you can really only position them forward when doing that. Think MMC's Roadbuster/ Strika, it can be done, but you need to work at it.
Megatron is a mixed bag for me. I've already mentioned that I wish he was a little bigger, but mine has a loose right shoulder joint and neck joint which knocks him down a little for me. No posing him with his gun arm for me, especially with his blast effect, until I can figure out which non defacing solution for tightening up joints I decide to go with. He does look good though, although some silver on the face would have been appreciated as it looks bland as is.

"Holiday19." IF it gives you the option to put one in.

They're all there, including Bumblebee. Google Shopping's search feature is wonky and takes some effort to find. Got mine yesterday from them. Walmart has them up for online ordering too.
