New third party company Trans Craft has just uploaded, via their Weibo account, images of the gray prototype of their next project: TC-02 Bumblebee Movie Bumblebee.
From what we can see from the images, we have what seems to be one of the most movie-accurate Bumblebee in the market. The molds shows a good posability and sculpt, and it will include Bee’s battle mask, blade and arm cannon. The VW Beetle alt mode looks accurate too, but showing several panel connections. This is sure a good competitor to Zeta’s Pioneer and Transformrm Element TE-02.
We still have no information regarding the scale, but Trans Craft first mold TC-01 Moxigan (TLK Mohawk) is planned for the Masterpiece scale, so there’s a possibility that this new Bumblebee will also be released for Masterpiece collectors. To top it all, Trans Craft have teased an upcoming Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime and more characters from the movie.
Remember that this is an early prototype, and some changes may be done in the future. We stillhave no concrete information on price or release date, but you can check out all the images after the jump. Let us know your impressions on the 2005 Boards!

ah okie, I might try that then

Most sellers have after sales support and some connection to the manufacturer, and will offer support for missing/damaged parts if you contact them. In my experience if they are in China, they will often ask you to buy something to ship the replacement part along with to save on shipping costs, but otherwise don’t charge for replacement parts. The wait times for a response from the manufacturer are sometimes very long.

i hope this doesn't end up like perukill challenger, la hire and m01 commander. please someone make hands!

Is there a way of contacting someone at Transcraft to get me a replacement head? Just asking out of curiosity

You shouldn't have to completely turn them from one way to another depending on bot/alt mode.
As far as rotation during transformation the hip is only rotating 90° then the thigh rotates 90°.
I can't recall which way they're supposed to be oreinted off hand as I'm at work, but I'm sure you can find a video of pic showing them.

Yeah, I had the same problem — on the same side, even. Mine eventually completely snapped, and I had to superglue it together while I wait for a replacement part.
I think, in general, it's a good idea to shave down the yellow tab on both legs. It's more of an alignment tab than a structural one — I think the tab on the side is intended to take most of the force when you flex the knee. I think this, because when I superglued the part back together, I did it slightly out of alignment, so it no longer tabs in the front, but it does tab into the side and the leg still works that way.

so i just saw people point at that the hips are higher or lower depending on which way they're facing, which one is for which mode? i feel like that's probably important for the transformation

Transformed mine for the first time. Every single 3rd party BB and the official one too are a pain in the ass to transform if you ask me. But this one is the most fun. Still kinda hard to get everything to line up perfectly for a clean alt mode. Lots of squeezing and massaging.
I do think overall this BB looks the best. Alt mode suffers a bit, but who cares.

yea, now I’m torn on whether I should wait to get a replacement or not

I think the antennas souldve been metal or a more solid plastic at least
Dunkle
I mean, my came with a half broken antenna which eventually snapped clean off.
heck, and I’ve waited so long for it to arrive
what a buzzkill

Sorry to hear this. I guess it’s time for you and a few others to find out just how good the after-sales service for your seller is. Fingers crossed for you all. I’ve had good fortune (and looong waits) through mine so far.

Damn dude that really sucks
Hope you can get a replacement soon

Made an account to post this, but I just got this guy and I think I lost the QC lottery with him. During my first transformation, the hinge his chest assembly is connected to fell off with one of the pinned sections having just broke clean off. I can still have it hold on from the other side, but it's not super secure and it makes the upper body transformation a nightmare. I'm not sure if it was my fault or if it was like this out of the box, but section that is still connected to the pin is super tight which means I can't really rotate it to glue it back together. Also his right thumb's hinge joint is incredibly loose and floppy, so I've got that going on too.
I've got some pictures of the break below with the broken section circled. Do you guys have any thoughts on this? I love everything else about this guy but my initial impression was not good at all.View attachment 28982206 View attachment 28982207 View attachment 28982209

I think i just pulled it up. Not the brightest move lol.
I think that piece would've been better made out of die-cast metal, but oh well just be careful
Atomic Tofu
@GaboCO316 Did you just pull it straight up first or did you release the side tab first?
GaboCO316
Hi guys, just a minor heada up, this piece seems to be a bit fragile. It broke when unplugging the yellow tab from it, by pulling the pannel bellow.
You can see the small crack there. I pasted it and seems good enough but just be careful View attachment 28980481

I need to repaint my OS Dropkick, but I found some junk laying around and it gave me an idea.
It’s not an overstatement to say that I can’t stop playing with this Bee.
