Happy hunting!

Weird seeing this as front page news. "It's a secret to everyone." Like others have mentioned, I also found these and completed Series 3 a couple of months ago.
Oh well congrats to the OP for the news credit while the rest of us Botbots fans were busy sleeping.

If you want to count Series 4, which is not entirely out yet:
61 (Series 1) + 60 (Series 2) + 72 (Series 3) + 69 (Series 4) + 10 SDCC exclusives + 13 Bakery Bytes/Lawn League exclusives = 285.

Couple hundred now?

Wow. I completed my series 3 collection months ago. (Minus the arcade pack)
I picked them all up at target. And thats with crappy Florida distribution.
How is just now being reported as sighted.
I am glad others can get their hands on these though.

Which, really, *should* be fine. Being a fan of Transformers doesn't mean having to buy everything.
Studio Series, Cyberverse, Botbots, Generations, Rescue Bots, etc… they're getting better at spreading love around and tickling the interests of both current and new audiences.

How many of these little figures have they made so far?

There's still a whole appreciation thread of people who are buying them pretty consistently. I haven't had any breakage problems with mine (especially since they tuned up the ball joints after S1), and I dunno what KO's you're gettin' but these guys feel pretty hearty and sturdy to me. The designs have gotten better with each series as well.
My only real complaint with the line at this point is the over reliance on recolors, though S4 doesn't seem as bad as S3. Still, I wish that there weren't QUITE as many per pack. But the new guys are worth it. @T-Hybrid just found the S4 blind packs locally yesterday for me, and they're solid. As he said too, all the gold guys are just normally distributed too.
All that said, they're totally not everyone's cup of tea, and you're right, rising prices do make it hard to spread interest across all the lines. Still, where some of the transformations in BotBots are more fun than a lot of Cyberverse, I'll still to the little guys.

The gold ones aren't even "chase" figures.
The blind packs are all numbered so if you know where to look you know what's inside. And the golds are always golds. They're not a variant paint job.

Is anyone still buying these?
I love the concept, but the cheap quality really turns me off. These are almost KO level of quality, if not for the first rate cartoon images and packaging. But I'd rather have an ugly box with better toys, to be honest.
Due to the rising costs of the mainline toys, I had to turn myself away from this line. I can see it getting really expensive, really fast. Especially with those cool Gold chase toys! If only Botbots could somehow pair with Generations toys (as weapons or whatnot).

I kid you not I thought you were talking about the 5-packs and it was the 8s you were hoping would turn up

These have been out for months, but it looks like they're finally hitting saturation.

I'VE LITERALLY BEEN TELLING HIM ABOUT THESE PACKS FOR LIKE A MONTH AND EDINA HAS HAD THEM SINCE SEPTEMBER.

I bought some of these sets at KMart of all places weeks ago. Didn't know nobody reported them.
wolfe
I grabbed some with the target sale. Pretty awesome.

Not news, sadly.
Can’t wait to see more of Wave 4 beyond the single-packs, though!

I saw these back in August visiting Arizona on vacation, and my understanding was they had also been seen before my post (?):

Target in Burnsville, MN.
I went looking for a thread but didn't see anything. Never saw them locally before.
