Hasbro sent out a promotional mailer to press and fan sites this week highlighting the various exclusive products at select retailers. Included were:
— 35th Anniversary Siege Megatron and Optimus in their cell shaded forms, available at Walmart.
— Transformers Cyberverse Slipstream and Cheetor with Sol Sea Fury, available at Target.
— Transformers Bot Bots Bakery Bytes with color change action, available at Amazon.
All of these came in a sharp custom box and shipping mailer featuring Evergreen artwork and Transformers branding. We’ve taken some quick shots of it all, read on to check it out. Hit the links above to grab your exclusives!

Well, in my case I am glad to see pictures of products that would never be at my country. Sadly, South Amerrica is not an attractive Market for Hasbro. We have worked directly with them for some years with our fan community but it's no surprise that representatives think that Optimus Prime is a "Red Bumblebee" (true story).
Anyway, this a good indicator that Hasbro has interest in promoting Transformers.

Say what you will, the press and merchandising for Hasbro hasn't been lacking. It actually is a good indicator that regardless of the financial reports, the brand will still see the light of day. It's when things get quiet that as collectors and fans we should be concerned.

I'm seriously not trying to be negative but I don't see the value add of this post. It's of toys that are already out there.
Honestly it's more of "hey look what Hasbro gave us."
Now, if you said here is what we got from Hasbro and we'll be giving these items away to charity, then I could see the value of something like this post.

AMERICAN site owners perhaps. There are fansites and groups in several other "Hasbro" countries that also significantly large or have been around longer than all of the American fansites, who never get these promo boxes.
I admit that this one is a little different, as the stores being promoted are American stores, and these items won't be released in a lot of other countries… but the previous (Movie) promo boxes contained regular toys that were released in all of Hasbro's other countries, and they were only sent to Americans, as if that's the only country on the world map at the Hasbro head office, and the international fandom, who pay higher prices for our Transformers toys, is just bonus revenue.
(and as Tony noted, most of the fansite recipients would already have the toys in these promo boxes that they wanted, but to me it's the beautiful box and non-toy contents that us serious collectors would value more, as well as being considered important enough by the people who own our hobby to send it to them – – it would be a sad to think that there might be mommy bloggers or newspaper journalists who get these promo boxes, and all that nice packaging ended up in the bin)

They should have given the stain removal gimmick to Siege figures too.
There isn't really anything new to comment on here, so I will just repeat my desire for an Evergreen Barricade figure. I want it. I need it.
Wakandan Grimlock
Like to have one

Nothing special, and yet pretty special. I'd like to have one!

The art would make a lovely door poster.
I do wish they'd been a bit more specific about if Amazon is going to get the Lawn League Botbots or not though.
WEEGEE
I wish I could get one.

So this is basically a transformers "SwagBag". Gotcha.
Beastbot X
Yep, I'd say we aren't getting the Lawn League packs. $&*#@.

I've seen some of the Nerf youtubers getting mailers like this over the last year.
EDIT: Forgot all of them say there's a public unboxing rider attached to getting them.

I meant bribing the person to cover the items if they haven't. Most places will only cover this stuff because they got this box. For TF sites, it's like a game reviewer getting a copy of a game for review. I don't think that it is wrong or anything. Now, if you got them, didn't admit to it, and starting highlighting the stuff that you get, then that would be bad.

Barricade looks interesting

Yeah, it's a press mailer. While the fan site owners get the boxes like this, I believe they are meant for more main stream media. People who normally would not cover Transformers toys like we do. Mommy blogs, Entertainment writers at USA Today, etc. It's a way to keep the brand front and center.
Most of what is in these boxes the last several movies and years has been basic retail level stuff that has been out for a while, so most site owners will have already got the items. But for a mainstream outlet, this is like a crash course in what is out for TF at any given time. I wouldn't say bribe fits, because most people that will get this won't give a s*** about it after their article. They'll give to kids or pass around office.
Rodimus Prime
Bribe for site owners, basically. Nothing underhanded, but by sending them figures they ensure that the site will have a gallery to show them off. Tony is being really upfront and honest with it, as I am sure that all of the site owners get them.

The Bakery Bytes are on Amazon, but the Lawn League isn\'t… Where will those be available?
PC Brodimus
What is a \"Mailer\"? Is it a promotion package sent tonselect sites or something like a membership perk?
ZapRowsdower
Interesting assortment! They really went for collector-aimed stuff, seems like.

Nothing unseen prior to this, but I think the boxes themselves are cool
