Attention Cyberverse collectors! It seems we have our first look at the possible upcoming Rack’N’Ruin Figure for the Transformers: Cyberverse toyline.
Some images of a Japanese Cyberverse catalog let us see a small pic of what seems to be a new Ultra Class Rack’N’Ruin toy which includes the new Energon Armor-Up gimmick as seen in the new Clobber and Bumblebee Ultra Class toys.
Rack’N’Ruin has been included as part of the cast in the new Transformers: Cyberverse cartoon and he’s obviously inspired by the original Autobot Wrecker from the Marvel UK comics. After so many years, Rack’N’Ruin finally receives a toy incarnation. While the original character was not able to transform, we can see that this toy can transform into a tank.
We are yet to see an official confirmation and better images, but you can share your impressions on this possible release on the 2005 Boards!

this is so cool…. hopefully the figure is actually good

same here , so their the only ones on my wreckers team, other than the 1 exception which is bulkhead. he just feels like he fits to me with that head and body. looks like geoff senior art or something to me
to be honest I never liked the 4 legs thing . For me I wanted two torsos and two heads , just like the Cyberverse design, so I am happy with this.

Back in the day, my local comic shop used to order Transformers UK comics for me. When he remembered. I only got a few chapters of Target 2006 when the story was new, but issue #82 (the issue with the Wreckers) was one of the ones he got in. I loved the team and have been a fan of that era of Wreckers ever since. I will happily buy Rack'n'Ruin when it comes out, even if the design is different from Ron Smith's original design.

Think on the positive side, Rack'n'Ruin's finally made the jump into toy! Impactor's first official figure was pretty bad, the FoC one, but 7 years later we've got a great figure of him in both 80s and IDW style. Be patient and there's a good chance the same will happen with Rack'n'Ruin too!

And now I'm thinking I want a Headmaster(s) Rack N Ruin……….

Personally, unless it's an MP, I don't care to have Cyberverse or Generations to look exactly like a G1 iteration (whatever that may be, comics, toon, etc).
As long as it keeps some important characteristics of the G1 character. Target/Headmasters have to be Target/Headmasters, etc.
Rack N Ruin never transformed as far as I remember. They were only green, conjoined robots. That's all I care about. I'll play with him a couple times and then he'll just go on the shelf for rest of its life.

It's that nostalgic wackiness. The Cyberverse toy looks a bit more 'sensible' (imo). You get a single body with two heads. In contrast, the Marvel guys were two almost entirely separate bodies only stuck together at the shoulders. The first time I saw them, I was thinking something like 'Who thought this was a good idea? Oh right, they're probably gonna split. Right?.'.
I want the toy.
I got Siege Zetar for a similar reason.

$20 actually.

I've got mixed feelings about this. On the one hand I like that we're actually getting a Rack'N'Ruin and I'm definitely considering getting it.
On the other, I still want a toy of the Marvel version as well. You can give me repaints, remolds, updates, etc, of the Cyberverse version, and I'll probably be happy to get them.
But I still want the original.
It's a bit like G1 fans getting the movie toys. A lot of them are pretty cool, but we still want cartoon style Optimus (I mean, even now we're still arguing over blue/grey hands.
).

Why? The original design looks dumb as rocks.
I much prefer the Cyberverse look to the two whole bots joined at the shoulder.

I don't speak for all Wreckers/comics fans, but I'm sure most will agree when I say this figure is better than having no Rack'n'Ruin at all. Characters never need to look like their original counterparts. Transformers wouldn't be what it is if not for those changes over the decades.

Can't say that for certain until get a better look at it.

Makes you wonder if there is an alternate reality Optimus still trying to stack those energon boxes without being constantly toppled and have to start all over again.

I like it. I hope it’s in scale with alpha trion. The cyberverse toys are definitely growing on me.

More wreckers the better. Not up on cyberverse – it\'d be cool if they\'re adding a bit of an edge to it… But I fancy the character inclusion is probably more for comedic opportunity?
Personally, I\'m ok on it if it sheds a bit more limelight on wreckers and helps get them introduced into a show/production like – hopefully – the Netflix one could be… I don\'t feel like cyberverse tone/story was ever going to show the kind of thing I want to see from wreckers storyline…
So yeah however the bay films or cyberverse wants to get the wreckers out there is kind of ok by me as long as it eventually means they make someone\'s planning doc for a subsequent production whose tone/characterisation is more in line with what I want (and again you\'d assume they\'re very unlikely to make season 1 of any new show… But maybe 2 or a spin off? Could be cool?… And then Finally follows the figs the comic/g1 fans will really want…

I mean…he was in the cartoon, i think it's more surprising he's finally getting a toy if anything.
