Combiner Wars? I agree some figures looked good but the combiners were flawed very much
Cal
It's nice to have a new fan of the toyline, but are you completely ignoring Combiner Wars? IMO, that's the best series in the toyline with accurate figures and impressive gestalts galore. Every one is a winner. Besides that, there are plenty of fantastic individual pre-TR figures you should look into. Some recommendations:
– United Jazz
– Battle in Space Cyclonus
– Classics Mirage
– Universe Prowl and repaints
– Classics Ramjet/Gen. Dirge + Thrust
– Generations Wreck-Gar
– Generations Cosmos
– Legends Hot Shot
– Generations Skids
– Generations Skullgrin
– Generations Warpath
– Generations Drift
All of these figures are definitely worth your money. You'll be pleased at what the whole CHUG line has to offer.

Super cool. Looks like a bigger tail fin too.

Something like this?
Matrix Workshop Upgrades
Gumblor Gimbles
I’m a fan of the battle damage on most siege figures, but Astrotrain’s damage looks like… faecal matter, both figuratively and literally.

If you can find a cheap second Astrotrain you can cover that Shuttle gap.
Prime Aspect
The cartoon never used a consistent or realistic scale, so anything attempting to be a "scale chart" or "scale accurate to the cartoon" is doomed to failure. If you want your TF toys to be in scale with each other, you have to ignore the cartoon completely.
PrimalFury
Most of them are around the same size however None of the Decepticons are bigger than Megatron except Devastator and a few others, combiners, Citys etc as it should be as hes the leader and most feared etc

Gilgamesh
Huh, so he IS a head smaller than Blitzwing, I had no idea.
Kaleb Hart
I was referring to the scale of the IDW2008 comics (my preferred scaling system)

Yes his cart goes on his back
ToaDraco
While I have no issue with battle damage it does bug me that it just sorta stops right before the knee with no rhyme or reason. At least have it transition or something. Other than that he looks fantastic. I like that all the guns combine into one big insane looking blaster. It\'s also nice that part of the coal car can give him foot extensions but I doubt I\'ll ever use them for that purpose.
BelnadesPistol
That's a no brainer. They have to
BioBlade
If the wheels on the train turn he's a buy for me.

might it be possible for astrotrain to attach the launchpad to his back in robot mode as a kind of weaponised battle armored cape?
the side walls of the coal car look like they should be dual jointed to fold ut flat to the side but als straghten out to the sides once flatteened for the launch platform mode so theoretically you already got all the dual purpose joints you need for a functional cape
dk1
astrotrain looks like a mashup of dob browns time train from bttf 3 and advenger from brave of gold goldran
Wakandan Grimlock
Second triple changer of WFC Seige, yesss, yesss.
GAUGE
Nah, he's been on his shins too much. Starscream has the Smirk to prove it.
weevil
He looks like TR sentiel prime body. I hope for GS sentinel prime.
Shin-Gouki
As soon as the mud is removed it will be perfect. Still miss the days when the Takara versions were different than the Hasbro ones.
