It sure took some time, but we finally can share for you images of the color prototype of TFC Toys S-01 Astaroth (G1 Sinnertwin), via TFC Toys Weibo account.
Astaroth is part of Satan, TFC Toys take on G1 Abominus. The design is similar in style to what TFC Toys offered with their Poseidon Combiner (Piranacon), a very modern and stylized rendition of the character. While not cartoon-accurate, we are sure many fans will like this modern and highly stylized design of the classic G1 Terrorcon member. As we can see for the pictures, you can expect a highly articulated figure in both modes.
We still have no concrete information on price or release date, but you can now click on the bar to see the mirrored images, including a look at the color prototype of P-03W Bigbite (repaint in Beast Wars II Seacons colors). After that, let us know your impressions on this new combiner on the 2005 Boards!

It really does, and those are the ones I (at least used to) have. This one missing element is the only serious regret I have in selling Ordin. I adored Siegfried.
Honesty
UT Ordin is great. It’s one reason why I had zero interest in this set. Not everything needs to be “modernized.”
He looks great next to TFC Superion, Warbo Bruticus, MMC’s Predaking, etc.

Guess it depends on how much the total would be. I had Ordin… he was alright… very dated. Not a bad combiner. So was "June" "supposed" relase date for Hunn Gurr for this set? If so thats like what 6 to 8 weeks away? Still no renders or anything.

FYI…
I know it’s not the news we want, but just letting you know that BBB is taking pre-orders ($5) to gauge interest in a possible re-issue of Unique Toys Ordin (also their Bruticus and Blurr). It might be worth taking a flyer on (especially if you pay the deposit using BBB points) for a shot at getting Ordin way cheaper than going thru eBay.
For folks who want Hun-Grrr/Abominus this might be our only option unless you want to wait for FT to do them from 2034-2038.
Nihiluis
TFC axed this project? If they have not said anything.
Zawicki
I mean… They're a business. Of course they aren't going to lose money over "honor." I might wish that they'd release hungrr but I'm not gonna take it personal. It sucks and I sold my limbs awhile ago because they went silent.
Sephiroth169
Said that before, yes.
I browsed through Forum, and saw that every Combiner
was always finished, by every Company.
Delays, Yes, here and there, 6 Months between, but always
finished. So it is hard to believe that TFC is the first
Company, who pulled off that shit to their Loyal Customers.
Curium
As months keep going by with nothing but silence it gets harder to maintain this stance, but I don't believe they have really cancelled. To date I do not believe any 3P combiner from any company has been cancelled incomplete, and TFC themselves have done many.
Sephiroth169
And EXACTLY THAT marks TFC with the Asshole Stamp.
Like People here say: they give you middle Finger.
If I would be a Company, and have MUCH Money on my Bank Account,
I would have…HONOR, and Release the Last Figure
for all Collectors, that have been Customers for Years.
But as People here say; "I want to Combine"
> TFC Response = "Fuck you, the Project Failed,
Sales were bad, so we cancel that Main Bot"
magmatron
What happened with TFC was a shift in direction, but the company is still alive. Until proven otherwise with an actual new mold Maketoys is just dead dead.
Curium
At least there is some level of sense behind all the Rolling Thunder redecos (varying degrees of sense, but none of them in the single digits) whereas the MT Seekers have completely jumped the shark.
DracoPrimal
That's sounding familiar… TFC's Rolling Thunder

Maketoys pisses me off. They haven't released their Highbrow yet. Just more seeker repaints out the ass, just more shades of every color under the sun.
divinecomedy
In the case of Maketoys, the company saddled TFSource with so much leftover stock, TFSource now owns Maketoys, ROFL.
Curium
Retailers sold out the stock they picked up, but we have no idea how much stock was produced that retailers didn't pick up. I have absolutely no idea how often it happens, or if it applies to TFC's Terrorcons, but I do know of cases where companies ended up sitting on unsold stock (specifically in the case of Shapeshift Inc).
Aaronstampler
I'm not sure I believe that they didn't sell decently. I'm looking at TCP, BBB and ShowZ and all four are sold out, so it couldn't have been too bad.
