New McDonald’s Happy Meal Transformers Cyberverse Power Of The Spark Toys

We had previously reported that Burger King will offer a King Jr. meal promotion with new Transformers: Cyberverse Toys based on the new Spark Armor line. Now, 2005 Boards member prime roller is giving us the heads up about some new and different McDonald’s Happy Meal Transformers Cyberverse Power Of The Spark Toys.

A McDonald’s display in Taiwan revealed a new set of Transformers Cyberverse toys that are inspired by the Spark Armor gimmick. Each character comes with a drone/vehicle that can split in parts that can be attached to the robot as wings, weapons or jet packs. We have Optimus Prime, Jetfire, Bumblebee, Grimlock, Prowl, Megatron, Starscream and Shockwave.  

It is still unknown if these toys will be offered in the US, but the promotional images have been spotted in Peru in South America too. Stay tuned with TFW2005 for more updates.

Update: Some extra images of the toys thanks to Autobase Aichi. It also seems that these toys would not be available in Japan, and similar with the previous Cyberverse McDonald’s toys, some countries will get the full line up of toys (South America) while others will only get 4 toys (Taiwan and India). After the first week I decided I didn't want to put the effort to look for all these. Ended up getting most of them anyways by going to McDonalds when I had one nearby for other reasons. Only ended up missing this Bumblebee and Jetfire.

Seriously, Botbots woulda been better, prolly cost less… and given much-needed cross-promotion. These suck even harder than the Cyberverse toys clogging shelves… which in turn fare very poorly when compared to the "golden age" of fast-food toys. :(

Just saw the official TV commercial advertising the Happy Meal cyberverse figs here in Spain :cool: 
Now…if I could just find a way to request one fig in particular…In the past they were not willing to accept individual requests for a particular fig, but well…one can only try…:rolleyes:

Has there been confirmation that these aren’t coming to the USA? Looks like September is another Barbie/hotwheels month.

ARGH! Why are these My Little Ponies not in the US?

I've seen a box set recently with these six for $20 or $25 at KMart, JC Penney, and Ollies.

Edit: I didn't read the back and forth. If it really had to come in a Happy Meal bag, I'd sneak retail toys into Happy Meals I brought home or something. Sucks to not have the real experience today but that's business in CURRENT_YEAR for you.

Sadly no.
They're not 3MM compatible either.
I assume that you can swap armors between the different figures though, they all seem to have ports in the same places.

Here in canada, we just finished the nintendo set, and its now teen superheroes…
I dont think we will never get these transformers even if they are useless.
It could be cool , a human figure transformers set, with spike, wife, son, dad, and the wheelchair guy, and the mad doctor. It could be to get easily the humans figs , and even if they dont dont transform, it can be fine.

At the time, I found it annoying that the happy meal toys were more show accurate than the actual toys. haha ;)
